Rain, none for me.
Jan. 16th, 2022 10:35 pmIt was cold but not as much as yesterday and not a drop of rain. Was a lot less windy too but still windy. Going to warm up some tomorrow. Enough to spend some time in the shop. Did spend a little time in the shop but not just more than about 20 minutes. Now looking like Wednesday has a decent chance of rain. That is always changing so really hard to say too far out just what the rain chance is. Going to warm up even more on Tuesday and Wednesday and that look like it is going to be it. So very limited shop time after about Wednesday. Will still try to spend some time out there but don't like to work in the cold but can still manage a little time out there. My outside temperature gauge still isn't working. I think the batteries are low because it does produce a reading when it is warmer out. Just reduced voltage in the cold. Officially at the airport it is 40°F with 73% humidity.
Got a package in today. Kind of rare on Sundays but it does happen. Don't know what it is because I haven't opened it yet and can't really find it on tracking but it was addressed to me. Did order six more battery packs from Jehu. So should have enough for a good size backup battery now and will have to build a rack for it. And to find something that will convert 36 volt to pure sine wave.
Fozzy is a lap cat at the moment. Seems to be happy. Twist was a lap pirate at least three times today. Has become formidable lap pirate.
Viewing pleasure didn't change from yesterday.

Gold is hanging in that at the bottom of $1800 and ounce. Crude is really trying to set another 52 week high but is coming up just a bit short.
Had Pop tarts for dessert today. Dinner.
Went through the mail today. Paid my lawn company and my tax bill. Mailed both of them today. Got the car out. Still out.
Fozzy's hair is so soft.
Twist snuggled with me this morning under the covers. Fozzy snuggle with me after my eye treatment on the couch.
Maybe a day or so before the next watchable launch. Falcon 9. Actually just looked. About 7:30 pm tomorrow. Hopefully I can remember.
Fozzy has really gotten comfortable in my lap.
Just did some vacuuming for house work. Washed and put up more of my glassware collection into the China Cabinet.
For woodworking did just a little on a radio front.
The days do seem to pass but I can't seem to get much done but I seem to stay busy.
That was part of project work too.
Did pretty good today as far as mood. More not so good dreams last night and felt really crappy this morning with depression. Hard to get started. Did have that feeling of hopelessness somewhat today too but didn't last long. Nothing that really triggers any of this. I still think it is just my brain chemistry. Should get more into the world of drugs and see if they can help or level me out just a bit.
January is now more than half over. Don't know how the days pass.
No word on either car.
Full moon is tomorrow. Kind of snuck up on me. Knew it had to be soon though.
Got my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen along with a candle.
Did test my solid state relays on AC and they do work. Got my solid state DC relays in but haven't tested those. Makes a difference as solid state relays are only made to work for AC or DC current.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
