More normal and no rain.
Jan. 17th, 2022 10:29 pmWas a nice day actually but didn't get any rain and it did warm up today. Going to be even warmer the next couple of days and then turn really cold again. Don't see much of a warm up after that any time soon. Going to be cold and it looks like not much in the way of shop time. Looking at a good chance or rain on Thursday as the cold front moves through. Not much after that. Did some work in the shop in just a T-shirt and was plenty comfortable. Should be good tomorrow too. My outside temperature gauge still isn't working. Need to check the batteries. Officially at the airport it is 50°F with 71% humidity.
Nothing delivered today. Not even the mail. It was MLK day which I had forgotten about. Did order some night lights to put next to the cats' litter boxes. Don't really know if the need the extra light but I though it might be nice just to give them a little more light at night. Tracking says my kerosene is going to be delivered tomorrow. Do need some more MDF to make my rack for my new batteries. Have a good bit on work to do on those.
No bills paid today.
Did part of my kitchen duty today. Not very much at all. Did clean and put up some more of my glasses in my China Cabinet.
No project work today.
For wood working I finally stained the foot board which means I am finished with that project. Still need to put it back on the bed today. Also worked more on my chair. Think I got a better handle now on how to make the sides of the chair. Making a model from a 2X4 to test it out. Will then make the model in Oak.
Still need to put up my car. Got it on charge. Have to sort the shop first.
Lawn company came today. Wasn't really expecting them. Had to move my solar panels real quick.
Dessert today for lunch was ice cream and more pop tarts for dinner.
Got two junk calls today.
No bills paid today. Need to sort my papers from last year and get those filled. Going to be too cold to be in the shop so good time to do that.
Gold is hanging on to $1800 an ounce. Crude came really close to another 52 week high today. Really close but fell back. Maybe tomorrow.
Viewing pleasure was the same as yesterday. Finished my move and started another.
New series on Netflix call "All of us are Dead" looks like it was based on "High School of the Dead" but says it is based on another comic strip. Starts January 26th.
Launch postponed until tomorrow. About 6:00 pm here. Going to try to remember to watch. Falcon 9.
Accident jabbed a fork under one of my fingernails. Very tender and hurts.
Mood wise was OK. Felt the usual morning bad depression. Glad it tends to fad as I get busy. Best think for it is to feel like I am accomplishing something. Just little things.
No word on either car.
Full moon tonight. Will look when I go outside to put up the car. Don't think it is cloudy.
Need to sort out the shop. Think I will do that now.

I don't think Twist was a lap pirate today. Don't remember.
Fozzy was a lap cat last night.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
