Made it through the night.

Last night the Hurricane/tropical storm came through here. Just keep watching the position hoping it would turn back to the east but it didn't. Finally after the 1:00 position was posted I just gave up and tried to get some sleep. Didn't want to sleep in the living room to hear the wind and hard rain on my sky light so I moved into my office. I did manage to sleep until about 4:00 in the morning. I checked the position and saw it was down to a tropical storm but was less than 20 miles away. Surprising the winds weren't bad at all! And it had pretty much stopped rain. Looked like the only damage was a lot of leaves down and some twigs and small branches. So, I just went back to bed as it seemed like the worse was over. Slept really late today. The storm has moved off to the east and unfortunately is bringing a lot of rain. I checked my rain gauge and we got just about two and two tenths of an inch. Far less than originally forecast. So fortunate there. Not really much in the way of more rain until about Saturday but will be cloudy so I think at least for a couple of days I won't have to water. Right now my outside temperature gauge shows it to be 74°F with 92% humidity. Really high humidity but not warm at all. Might get some fog if the temperature drops.

Didn't get anything in today and didn't order anything. With the storm I wasn't expecting anything. Don't know about tomorrow. Might actually get something delivered. Do intend to order my CNC router. Don't see any reason not to. And I will probably order my new car this weekend. Don't want the sun roof though.

Didn't pay any bills today.

I think the incense this morning was Vanilla but not sure.

Watched the launch of an Arianne rocket this morning. Just barely. Not as interesting as a Falcon 9 launch. No on board cameras. Tomorrow is the launch of another Falcon 9. About 7:00 pm tomorrow.

No housework or wood working today. Really need to do kitchen duty tomorrow.

Did some work a battery management board. That was the extent of my project work.

Tired tonight but mostly relieved after last night. Did get a little depressed tonight.

Changed series that I am watching on Netflix. Don't remember the name. Will try to get that tomorrow. Watched more YouTube Videos to complete my viewing pleasure for today.

No lap cat yet. Fozzy left me a surprise this morning. Long haired cat. I do kind of feel sorry for him. Twist never does.

Gold just did move back into $1800 an ounce territory. Crude is slowly moving back up. Don't know if or when it will set another 52 week high.

The car is put up. Might get out tomorrow and survey the area.

Lots of neighborhoods lost power last night. We were very fortunate. Power stayed on and not even a blip. Digital clocks didn't reset. CenterPoint outage map doesn't seem to be working. Notes say almost 100,000 homes are still without power. Does seem to be working now.

No dessert tonight. Out of ice cream.

Should sleep better tonight.

Lawn company will probably come tomorrow and take care of all the leaf litter.

Need to put all my solar panels out again tomorrow and restore my solar power.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
