Going to do my best post an entry.
Sep. 13th, 2021 10:15 pmA tropical storm is as the moment forecast to pass about 17 miles from me Close but I will take all the distance I can get. It has started a turn to the east but the model at the moment doesn't show it. I hope it continues to turn to the east. Right now the wind is about 12 mph below the forecast so I hope that is a good sign. Based on the forecast winds I hope my house is going to be ok. We were forecast to get about 3 to five inches of rain tonight but so far I am guessing we have gotten way less than an inch. Tomorrow about another inch is forecast. Going to be a long night but should be over with about pretty much between 9 and 10 tomorrow. So just have about 12 hours to go. It does look like the rain chance continues for a while though. Hopefully I won't have to water too much longer.
The wind field usually doesn't extend too far back to the west. The longest wind field will be east of the center.
Going to take a break from this in just a few minutes to watch the launch of a falcon 9. Count down is at about 20 minutes now.
I notices on the forecast that they have dropped the forecasted wind speed for this area. That makes me feel better and that forecast wind speed is about four miles away so that should help some. Still have high blood pressure and a rapid heart beat. Got to make it about 12 more hours. Believe me I will be counting them down and hoping we don't loose power until I can get the generator out and get it running. I do have a plan to protected it using my solar array support and putting a cover over it. Far enough away from my door that it should be Ok. Don't really want to asphyxiate myself.
Didn't get anything in today. Wasn't expecting anything. Something on tracking for tomorrow but I don't know if I will get it due to the storm.
I did order my compact router in anticipation that I am going to eventually order my CNC machine.
Both Fozzy and Twist made it to lap cat today. Kind of unusual.
Space X just went live.
Beautiful launch. A success as usual.
My outside temperature gauge says it is about 74°F with 82% humidity. At the airport it is 72°F 80% humidity. That is the official temperature.
No bills paid today.
No dessert today and I think my incense this morning was Dragons blood.
Watched my new series the Monkey King on Netflix. Adding in some you tube videos to the mix for viewing pleasure.
Gold is still hanging around in the upper portion of $1700 an ounce. Crude moved up a bit more and it really not that far below its 52 week high but at the rate it is moving up it may take a while to set a new one.
The car is inside. Not going out for a drive.
Got one junk call today and one annoying call. Told the junk call to put me on their do not call list.
Only about 9 to 10 hours left. Hoping.
Didn't do any housework, project work or wood work today. I did trim the ends of the garage door seal and put in the last nail. Done with that project except for painting it.
Probably order my car this week.
Did pay my insurance bill yesterday. Got that out of the way.
