Nada rain.
Sep. 5th, 2021 09:53 pmWasn't much chance of rain today. Didn't even really get cloudy. Was sunny and hot all day long but it did look like I saw some upper level clouds. Oddly enough there is a good chance of rain happening early in the morning. A decent rain would be nice as the grass is looking a little stressed. I am watering my new sod so that still seems to be doing ok. After tomorrow it looks like a hot and dry spell lasting into next week. Doesn't look like the rain is going to be with us like it was in August. Outside tonight it is 86°F with 72 % humidity. So a warm and humid night. For comparison the office temperature at the airport reports that it is 84° with 75% humidity. Didn't do anything in the shop today except just a little bit of work tonight.
Read LOL Cats today.
Didn't get any junk calls. Kind of rare on Sundays anyway.
Didn't pay any bills today.
No lap cat as of yet
I remember I burned cinnamon incense this morning.
For housework I did my kitchen duty. Not much else for housework.
Opened my auction win from the Museum of Natural Science. Actually very nice. I guess it was worth what I paid for it.
Did ok as far as my depression today until this afternoon and got triggered by something. Feeling depressed now. Something small but I can't seem to shake it. Waiting until bed to put this one in the books and relax and think.
No real project work today. Been slack in that regard.
Did just a bit or woodwork sort of. Drilled all the holes in the horizontal piece of my garage door seal. Was warm enough in the shop. Might install it tomorrow.
Being Sunday I didn't get anything in. Not sure if anything will come in tomorrow. Might get my pin connectors in. Ordered a Dell open Box computer. Looks nice enough and should be Ok. Small. Don't like to order anything that has been refurbished regardless of where it was done. Having trouble with my Linux machine connecting to the Wi-fi. Kind of intermittent so I don't know what it is having trouble.
Gold is holding on to the second quarter of $1800 an ounce but not by much. Crude gave back some ground today. Thought it was going to make a run at another 52 week high.
Nothing soon on Launches. Just have to be patient.
The car is already put up so not going out for a drive.
Did my truck start, run and drive today. Did a fairly long loop. Going to need to put some gas in it soon.
Really need to run my inverter generator again.
No texting today.
Watched more of The Manifest today. And more YouTube videos for viewing pleasure.
Had Gelato for dessert at lunch and ice cream for dessert at Dinner.
Started a new HEB Deliver order. Haven't heard from them yet about my missing items. Irritated about that. Missing just one but they left out seven items.
Got to think seriously about ordering my Bolt EUV.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
