Amazing, two days in a row with no rain.
Jul. 18th, 2021 10:15 pmAt least I don't think it rained. We got plenty of thunder and the sky was dark but I think the rain missed us. Really didn't have that high of a chance today and it looked like on radar they were the sea breeze type of showers moving in from the coast. Some days we are under one and other days they miss us. Tomorrow has a decent chance of rain but the chance of rain on Tuesday has gone way up. Looks pretty certain that we will get rain on Tuesday. It is the weather though. Been so wet lately. It wouldn't hurt to miss a day or too. May be the tree trimming people can finally make it and trim my tree. Right now locally based on my outside temperature gauge it is 82°F with 85% humidity. Not the official weather. For that we have to check in at the airport. They say it is 83°F with 79% humidity. A bit warm out still.
My lawn company will probably come tomorrow to mow my lawn. Usually on Monday or Tuesday. Probably growing really fast with all the rain.
Finally did check today and it is not a premium channel free preview weekend. Would have missed a lot of it if it was. Just the same as most days lately. More Lucifer and YouTube videos. Viewing pleasure. Did get a Netflix movie in yesterday. Checked the mail today.
Gold is holding on to its grip on $1800 an ounce. Cruder retreated further today. Seems to be heavily on the declining side now. I did notice that gas prices have dropped about four cents a gallon. Might fall back further if this keeps up.
Looked at the moon last night. Looked to be just over half full. The full moon is on the 23rd. Not far away.
Released my HEB order for delivery tomorrow between 2:00 and 3:00 Refrigerator is looking really empty. Frozen food.
Paid bills last night.
Todays incense was Lavender. I think I remember for once.
No lap cat today and no junk calls.
For house work I did my kitchen duty, vacuumed the hall and the kitchen floor. Cleaned a bit more in the bathroom.
For woodworking I built a new blank for an emergency light. Routed a grove in both halves to make a ready made hole through the center after gluing both halves together. Turned it on the lath. Finished cutting the new power distribution block. And drilling too. Glued the alignment piece for my chair.
For project work I laid out the clock and drilled the pilot holes.
The shop needs its usual nightly sort before I can put the car up.
Very moderate on the depression today. Bearable. Still thinking about dealing with retirement. Just the unwanted dreams would stop. I do get an occasion good dream. Rare.
Don't think I am going for a drive tonight.
Thinking I might get a couple or more items in from eBay tomorrow. Waiting on six items from eBay and one that apparently is lost in the mail. Doubt it will ever make it.
I think the clock is going to be a complicated project. Just need to take my time an use the right tools.
Fixed the blower on my jig saw. Just had to remove the broken one and heat up the next one and it popped right on. Fixed after being broken for probably 10 years.
I think that is going to do it for this entry.
