More sea breeze rain.
Jul. 16th, 2021 10:08 pmAnd one of them passed over us and we got a decent rain. Much like the seemingly daily rains that we have been getting. Not just a terrible lot but plenty to keep everything soaked and wet. And lots of standing water. Doesn't seem to want to drain at all. Tomorrow might be a dry day. About the lowest rain chance I have seen in a while but it is up again the next day. Temperatures ate going to stay down. Unusual. But the humidity definitely isn't down. Would be bearable in the shop with just the fans if the humidity wasn't so high. Right now it shows to be about 82°F outside by my temperature gauge with 100% humidity. About midway in the recent night time temperatures. But the official temperature is registered by the airport. There it is 82°F with 81% humidity. Looks like this cycle is going to last through the end of the month.
Still haven't checked to see if this is a premium channel free preview weekend. Meant to do that last night, again this morning and just a few minutes ago. At some point I will check.
Cleared up a lot of orders today. Got my Clock in from Scientifics and four items in from eBay. I got my push pin lock, my two channel solid state relays, my 2.1 mm power sockets and one set of push buttons. Not a bad day. Hard to tell really by the tracking if I will get more in tomorrow. It is possible but I am thinking it is more likely it will be Monday. Did order one more item today. Some fiber optic filament. Going to use it for my clock so I can centralize the LED and not run just a ton of wire everywhere. I will just use the fiber optic filament to be the light source for my clock. Should simplify it I hope. Going to use marbles. And I think I will try to 3D print the holders. Got to use it sooner or later. Still need to learn more of the software though.
No lap cat to day or for a while now. Twist did sleep with me last night and snuggled.
No bills paid today. Did have my cheese sandwich. Keeping the tradition going.
Todays incense was cinnamon I think.
Got two junk calls today and one annoying call.
Viewing pleasure for today was more Lucifer and YouTube videos.
Gold fell back closer to just $1800 an ounce and crude followed. Again falling back. Now a good bit away from another 52 week high.
New Sheppard launch getting closer. First flight with a crew.
Doing a bit of work on my HEB Delivery order.
For housework today I did my kitchen duty, vacuumed part of the den, Sorted and organize my project some, cleaned a bit more in the bathroom. Just a little house work each day.
No real woodworking. Just glued another piece or two onto my lathe blank. Got a few more pieces to add. Might try to turn it tomorrow.
For project work I finished my Bluetooth amplifier/receiver. Working. And I started on my Binary clock design. Working out the light source. Thinking I will use fiber optics and marbles as the digits.
The car is still out. Might break down and go for a short drive tonight.
Got my recycle bin ready to go to the curb tomorrow. Pretty much full. No trash bin though.
Feeling a bit down. Did Okay for most of the day though.
The mosquito spay application was yesterday. Still seeing mosquitos. Think they are just too thick.
Got to run an errand tomorrow. The first legitimate drive I've had in a while. Probably should do the truck too. Need gas but don't want to get that during the day. Put gas in tomorrow night.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
