Thunderstorms and rain tonight.
Jun. 15th, 2021 10:24 pmPlenty of thunder and lightning tonight but I don't think we got just a terribly lot of rain out of it. Still nice to get some rain even if it was a little. Things were starting to turn a bit brown and feeling the heat stress and it really did cool off things this evening.
Fozzy just made himself the lap cat of the evening.
Looks like at least on radar we are still getting some rain. Wasn't really much of a chance of rain today but after all it is the weather. And does pretty much what it wants to and hard to predict I guess kind of popup showers like this although this one has last a lot longer than a popup shower. Looking at some really elevated chances of rain in the next several days especially on Saturday. Might be due to the low pressure in the Gulf that might be heading this way. Not at this moment predicted to be much more than a tropical storm. The rain induced cooling outside shows a temperature of about 73°F on my outside temperature gauge with 100% humidity. And comparing that with the official temperature at the airport which is 72°F with 90% humidity.
Got a doctors appointment tomorrow for a physical. Always dislike those things. Got to go or they won't refill my medications anymore. Short visit. Only 15 minutes but probably lab work to get done after that. Don't want to do that tomorrow. Got the appointment right after lunch. Thinking they will be on time and I won't have to wait long.
Didn't get anything in from anyone today. Didn't order anything either. Well, not today but I did order three breadboards and three power supplies for them after I finished my entry last night. Still waiting on a ton of stuff to come in. My new generator is going to weigh close to 100 pounds. Fortunately it has wheels and a handle.
Got up to watch the minotaur launch but didn't see the live version due to my screw up. Watched the replay. Really, really fast rocket. Nothing like the Falcon. Short telecast too. Falcon is much more interesting.
Don't see anything that looks like it is going to come in tomorrow.
Must have done something to upset Fozzy. Was settled in but just got up a left in a huff.
Viewing pleasure today was the rest of my NetFlix movie. Should take that back tonight. And YouTube Videos and NetFlix series.
Paid my TruGreen bill today.
Got probably 4 junk calls today. One on my cell phone I didn't answer and one on my Landline I didn't answer. Hopefully got on the do not call list on at least one of my junk calls. Keep getting the same calls. Maybe this will at least eliminate one or two if I continue to do this.
Today's incense burn was Cinnamon.
Gold is trading close to the middle of $1800 an ounce. Crude set a new 52 week high today. Seems to be an almost daily event now. Gas prices have to be going up. Will check tonight.
Going to miss the next Falcon launch. I have a vision appointment at the same time.
Didn't do any housework today. I did breakdown my recluse bed, take down all the curtains and move the pad into the den. Wasn't as mosquito proof as I thought.
Started building one of my emergency light stands. Was part of woodworking too.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
