Drops of rain on my windshield.
Jun. 14th, 2021 09:14 pmProbably shouldn't count that as getting rain but I did see a few drops on my windshield as I was out running errands. Probably could have counted them. The high chance of rain at least for here kind of disappeared. I did see a line of showers form just to the east of us and moved to the west. Just missing us. Lots of clouds to be seen but didn't get any rain out of them. Nothing in the forecast for a decent chance of rain except there is probably going to be a 100% chance of hot for a long time to come. Just couldn't work in the shop. Fans didn't help. Just too hot and too humid. Just made it an inside day. Outside tonight according to my outside temperature gauge it is 82°F with 74% humidity. Comparing that with the official temperature at the airport which is 81°F with 81% humidity. probably plenty muggy outside. And summer is not at all far away. Starting this Sunday. Officially will be summer. The full moon this month will be June 24th.
Tired tonight and feeling more than just the bit depressed I seem to always feel. Get another one in the book. Not getting to work in the shop is not helping. Wishing, wishing, wishing I had an air conditioned shop but just isn't going to happen here. Thinking about the swamp coolers we hand where I grew up. Worked well.
Got one item in from eBay and ordered one more. Got my sandpaper in today. Surprisingly heavy. Ordered some more 2.1 mm jacks. Used all that I had. Seem to use them for just about all of my projects. Hopefully those will last a while. Still have my Overstock order yet to come in and my Dinointhebox order also. I almost screwed up big time. I ordered a new generator last night. Wondering why it was so cheap. Checked this morning and it wasn't a inverter type generator. Wanted dual fuel. It was that. Can't believe I didn't noticed that. Canceled the order. In plenty of time to do so. Ordered a dual fuel inverter type generator. More expensive but in line with what I was expecting. Inverters are better for electronics and give better fuel consumption. Got that fix.
Let my go phone prepaid expired. My fault. Lost all of my backlog. Would have to add more money anyway to keep it. Good now for another year. Don't ever use that much up so I had a good bit of back long. Screwed up on that one. Karma probably for something I did.
Didn't do much housework today. Cleaned the kitchen. Meant to prewash the silverware but didn't Refreshed the cats drinking fountain. Really need to do that more often.
Built another universal battery distribution center. Have three of them now. Other projects I want to do with random lights. Meant to play with my projects but didn't.
Much too hot to do much in the shop. Starting building some lamp stands for my emergency lights. Still have to cut the other trim piece for the attic but I have that sealed up so might let that go for a while.
For my viewing pleasure today I finally watched my Netflix moving, my Netflix series and Youtube videos. Kind of made this a chill day. Normally time that I would be in the shop.
No word on getting the Z fixed. Not in any hurry. Will just wait.
Nothing from my landscaper or my lawn company. Didn't mow the yard today. Probably will tomorrow. Waiting to get my yard fixed. Going to be an expensive month with all my spending on yards, cars and generators. Next month hopefully will be down.
Gold is hanging around in the third quarter of $1800 an ounce. Crude didn't set a new 52 week high today and fell back a bit. Still not that far back from it 52 week high.
Don't think I am going out for a drive tonight. About ready to finish everything up and go to bed. Should start a new HEB delivery order soon just to get it going.
Today's incense burn was Jasmine. Restarted that habit.
Got one junk call today.

Going to test a new OS on my Raspberry Pi 4. Looks interesting. I hope it runs Python and gives access to the GPIO pins. Big program.
Minotaur 1 tomorrow at 6:00 our time. Going to set my alarm to get up and watch it. Next up is the Falcon 9 on the 17th.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
