Today was another totally rain free day. Started off with lots of clouds but changed to sunshine and lots of wind. Forecast shows a decent chance of rain kind of early tomorrow morning. Looking at the radar there is a major storm to the north and east of us but it is moving away from us. Still a decent chance for rain on Tuesday and then an even better chance on Wednesday. Suppose to be 92°F tomorrow and then drop back into the 70's for a single day on Wednesday. Then no more nice temperatures. Was OKay on in the shop but couldn't stay long term. The humidity was high today. Looking at my outside temperature gauge it says it is 81°F with 81% humidity. A warm and humid night. Stopping by the airport they say it is 80°F with 83% humidity. Didn't improve much going to the airport. Will have one last nice day on Wednesday even with the rain. I think after that I am going to extinguish my oil lamp night light. I have already stopped burning the candle. And of course no Aladdin lamp in my office.
Being Sunday and a rare day for an eBay day but I did get my 10 pack of wood in. A little disappointed as all of the oak seem to be short lengths. Was really hoping to get some longer lengths in. I guess if I want those I am going to have to buy them from Lowes or Home Depot. Lumber is not cheap and really hard wood was never really cheap anyway. Don't have a project in mind at the moment that will need longer oak planks but it would have been nice to get a couple. Kind of got three wood projects going at the moment. Didn't really order anything today but I did order a couple of eBay items late yesterday. Looking at tracking I might get an item in tomorrow. Might also get one of my Rockler bits. Got a notice that the one of them is going to be delayed until late May. Need that one for my chair project. I mentioned that I got my Gold Back in yesterday. Really pretty. Outstanding are my laser projector, multiple eBay items and my Rockler router bits.
Not much of a housework day. Just vacuumed part of the living room. The area I used to work on my mirror frame. Lots of wood chips. Didn't do my usual kitchen cleaning.
For woodworking I worked on the wheel for my revitalized electric mobility project. Worked just a bit on my antique radio reproduction and on my chair. Just going to do a little one or two of the project every day. Getting out and putting up the shop is a bit inconvenient though.
Didn't do any kind of project work today. I did drive by the place I am going to take my mirror to get that installed. Have to do a little bit more trim work on the frame before I take it there.
Got one junk call today. Kind of a surprise as that is kind of rare on Sunday. My Google voice account is all of a Sudden getting junk calls. Can't really answer those as I don't have a headset connected to my computer or any kind of microphone. Had that number for ever and just now started to get junk calls. Most of them were from the Houston Chronicle so I blocked all of those numbers.
A bit more tired tonight that I was last night. Going to put another one in the books. Always ready for that.
I got up to watch the launch or rather I never really went to sleep. Flawless. Just like all the others. Still I enjoy watching and the excitement of the count down. They nailed the booster landing. Just an amazing feat to land on a dot in the ocean.
Gold and crude traded today so we can check on those. Gold is now in the second quarter of $1800 an ounce. Has move up a good bit. Crude also recovered a bit of ground and is now I think within striking distance of setting a new 52 week high.
Didn't get paid today. Looks like it is going to be late this month too. As long as I do get paid.
Lawn company. Don't think they will come tomorrow. Usually come on Tuesdays now.
No lap cat today.
Still have to sort the shop and put up the car. Didn't get a lot out today so shouldn't take a lot of time. Since I went on the drive this afternoon I don't think I will go on a drive tonight. Need to put my car on charge.
The cats really like their new chair. Fozzy can be a bit mean to twist when he wants in the chair.
Next watchable launch is another Falcon 9 on a StarLink Mission.
Read LOL Cats this morning. And just watched YouTube videos for viewing pleasure.
Changing directions on my Electric Mobility project. Going for more of a three wheeler go kart style and getting away from the motorcycle style. Can use more of a standard front end and standard steering.
Still wonder what is going on at work. Kind of odd to think about being retired.
Need to work on my HEB delivery order. Probably need to release one soon. Added a few more items and trying to think of anything I need or want. Need to get my order up. Got to be careful not to get too much frozen food. Keep almost running out of space.
Didn't pay any bills today. Still need to put the car up.
