Plenty of sunshine today but no rain.

Another relatively nice day in May although it did warm up a bit today but the humidity was really low. My gauge showed it was just 25% humidity outside. Unusually dry for here. Kind of actually felt cool because of the very low humidity. One of those rare days where an evaporative cooler would have worked here. Looks like the rain chances for next Tuesday and Wednesday have gone way up. Things change and it is the weather and also subject to swings. Might be good because parts of the backyard are showing signs of turning brown even with the recent heavy rains that we got. And the temperature might make one last dip into the 70's before it gets really warm. Monday is already showing to be in the 90's.

Just about ready for this one to be in the books. Kind of tired and bit worn out.

Didn't get any junk calls today. And checking this morning it is not a premium channel free preview weekend. Kind of infrequent now.

Got the shop sorted and went for a decently long drive tonight. Originally just started out to mail my income tax and get that taken care of. One less thing to worry about. I decided to drive around just a bit more before coming home.

Finally just decided to order my Laser projector, splurge and treat myself. Not sure why other than I wanted it. Don't really watch that much TV any more. Maybe I will after I get this. My old projector was nice but one of the shortcomings of projectors is that they almost always have to be behind you. Kind of inconvenient. This projector can set really close to the screen. Makes it a lot easier to use. I guess outside of leasing my car I can't think of anything really in the last 20 years or so that I have bought something this expensive. Bought other items kind of more or less on a whim that were expensive but really nothing like this. Just kind of thought it would be nice and something I could enjoy.

Today was an eBay day. Got one item in and it was my snack food. Just about out. Good timing to get here now. Probably have about three days of supply left. Nothing else came in. Only ordered my laser projector. And that might not be in until the end of may. I have three items on order in eBay, my Gold Back and my 10 pack of wood. Don't really know when any of that is coming in. Might get an eBay item in tomorrow. Tracking kind of looks promising.

Twist was tonight's lap cat. Kind of nice. He just settles right in and curls up and goes to sleep. Nice to have an affectionate cat and a trusting one. Just tugs at my heart anytime I see a kitty outside. They all should have a loving home. I try to give mine that.

For housework today I put up the dishes from the dishwasher. Can't think of anything else.

For project work I cut out mounts for the servos. Think I have finally figured out a way to mount them. They really aren't built with that in mind or I am really missing something. Just will take a little extra work and then I can play with them.

Woodworking was kind of minimal today. Turned a leg which turned out to be the wrong size. So I glued up another blank. Might turn that tomorrow. Then will still have one more leg to turn. Oh, yes. I am still waiting on my router bits from Rockler. Sure have ordered just a lot of items here recently. I need the bits to work on my chair and my radio project. Got everything in the shop sorted and the car is put up but I don't have it on charge.

Got the recycle bin out on the porch. Might put it out tomorrow. Need to add a few more items.

Gold has made a good move and is close to half way into $1800 an ounce. Really rapid rise here in the last few days. Don't know what is driving it. Crude fell back some today.

May 7th. Days.

Falcon 9 still scheduled for the 9th. launching a lot and make it look so easy.

Mosquitos are really out. Hope they spray soon.

Nice to have all my hand tools in one place.

Nothing new on the Ashley podcast front. Don't know when the next full moon is. Will have to check.

Should do some more work on my HEB delivery order. Things seem to regularly disappear. Things move in and out of stock.

Need to finish the pins in my mirror frame.

No bills paid today.

Heard the fireworks from the ballpark tonight. Guess every Friday night that they have a home game I will be hearing them.

My outside temperature gauge says it is 69°F with 73% humidity. For the official reading looking at the airport gauge it is 69° with 79% humidity.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.

A Saturday in May. No rain to bring May flowers.

Totally dry today except for the humidity and it did feel like it was up quite a bit from yesterday. Was cloudy just about all day and windy too. Kept thinking we might get some rain but it didn't happen. My outside temperature gauge shows it is a rather warm night tonight at about 79°F with 79% humidity. Checking in with the airport to get the official temperature it is 77°F with 83% humidity. Not going to cool off any tonight. Going to stay about like this all night long. Next Tuesday and Wednesday still look like they have a decent chance of rain and Wednesday looks like a really nice day outside of the rain chance with a high of only 75°F. And after that it is going to be warm. Another summer is on the way.

SpaceX launch is still on. About 1:42 am our time. I am going to set my alarm clock and try to get up to watch it. Tomorrow is Sunday. Not like it is going to be any different from any day of the week. But I still want to watch or if like last night I was still awake at that time. Always exciting to watch it launch.

Twist was a short term lap cat tonight. Just in and out for the most part. Fozzy has been absent recently. Big cat.

Did order something from eBay today. Some blades for my oscillating saw. Only came with one and it quickly wore out. Want them to cut the excess pin from working on my mirror. Could just do it with my coping saw but thought I needed the blades anyway so I am going to wait to cut the pin until my blades come in. Didn't get anything in form eBay today. I did get my Gold Back in today. Took me awhile to figure out that is what it was. According to tracking information my wood ten pack is supposed to be delivered tomorrow on Sunday by Federal Express. Odd to get something on Sunday but I guess they do deliver on Sunday. Still have a good number of items outstanding. Ebay items, Rockler and Best Buy. The wood delivery tomorrow and my Gold Back delivery today drops at least the number of companies I have on order from.

Gold and crude didn't trade today. So next report is tomorrow.

Tomorrow is LOL Cats day. Always look forward to that. Just about the first thing I look for on the computer on Sunday.

Viewing pleasure today was YouTube Videos. Hopefully I can talk about watching the launch tomorrow.

For woodworking today I put the pins in my mirror and plugged the holes with the screw cap covers. Need to stain those. Got to cut the pins and put the mirror brackets back on. Not sure when I will get the mirror installed. Going to let a professional do that. I also did some work on the case for my radio project. Nothing on the chair. Mounted my servos. Three of them. Can play with them tomorrow.

Nothing much in the way of project work outside of the woodwork.

For house work I did the usual kitchen clean, vacuumed the hall and cleaned both cat litter box areas.

Put out my recycle bin today. Wasn't full but put it out anyway. It did have a decent amount of material. Brought it back up to the porch. Not inside yet. No trash bin. Not filling that up very fast. Been awhile since I put one out.

Got to sort the shop. Shouldn't take long. Didn't get much out. And put up the car. Don't think I am going out for a drive. Then this one will be in the books too.

No junk calls today. No bills paid today.
