A very sunny and rain free day.
Apr. 24th, 2021 10:34 pmNot a chance of rain today. A very sunny day and it did warm up but I managed to make it through the day without turning on the air conditioning. Wasn't bad at all in the shop but did get rather warm in the house. Probably going to start the air conditioner just to keep the house cool even if I am out in the shop. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 71°F outside with 59% humidity. Officially it is 73°F with 57% humidity. Looking at some chance of rain next Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Nothing exceptionally high but above the standard chance of rain. The temperatures are probably now going to be in the 80's and get warmer soon. Going to be summer like with temperatures and humidity soon enough. Has been a fairly mild winter except for that one stretch were we compressed all of winter into about five days.
Tired tonight. Doesn't feel like I did much out in the shop but spent most of the afternoon out there. So for woodworking today I finished another drawer and worked in some part on the remaining four. Stained the skirt board and the face frame along with one drawer front. I have also mounted the skirt board. Making progress. Going to try to do the panel raising on all four remaining drawers and then I can finish two more. The poplar boards I needed to finish my drawers were out of stock so I order a lot more than I needed of a four foot long poplar board. I will have it for other projects along with the two four foot oak boards. Decided to use the slightly warped board. Don't think it will make much difference and really won't be noticeable. Still have my project panels coming in on Monday.
Was a good eBay day. I got three items in today and I wasn't really expecting any. I got my half inch pin nails, my Kearnes, and my 10-24 machine screws. So it was a decent eBay day. Didn't order anything form eBay but did order some more wood from Home Depot.
Didn't do any type of project work today.
Did the usually kitchen clean up and dishes in the dishwasher and also vacuumed the hall. I had to repair the cord to the table saw. Must have gotten in contact with the belt and just about wore a hole all the way through the power cord. Fixed now.
Nothing to report on Gold and crude today. No trading.
Got the shop mostly sorted but still have to put up the car. Don't think I am going for a drive.
Going to eat lunch with Mary, Steve and Kevin tomorrow. Will be my first social outing in a long time.
Humid in the house. And maybe too warm.
No bills paid today and I think I got one junk call.
No lap cat except for the usual Twist sneak in when I am trying to put on my socks in the morning.
Still holding my HEB Delivery order. Should work on that some more tonight. Got to release it soon. Going to be out of everything.
Tomorrow is LOL cats. Always look forward to that.
Need to listen to Ashley's podcast. Being trying to remember to do that every night.
Mosquitos are out. Don't know where my service is.

Got my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen along with a candle. Getting close to the end of that season.
Should finish my dresser next week if all my material come in on time. Might be into next month otherwise.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
