Just an incredible rain free day.

Today was another nice day. Didn't get just a lot of sun as it was mostly cloudy all day long and the wind did pick up later in the day along with the wind. Right now my outside temperature gauge says it is 67°F with 89% humidity. Not a dry night at all. I have my Aladdin lit in my office to take the chill out of the air in here. Tomorrow is finally going to be Friday and along with the forecast of rain. Looks like the rain chance starts about 3:00 am tomorrow and pretty much stays high or higher until early Saturday morning. And after that it looks like turn on the air conditioner. Didn't need it today and shouldn't need it tomorrow. Don't really see anything at all on radar that looks like it is going to bring rain. Certainly not the only indicator of rain. Going to leave that to the experts.

Finally got my wondering eBay item in today. Took a while but it did get here. And I also order a bed spread for my water bed. It has never really had a bedspread. SO, I just thought I would get it one. Now have six items outstanding on eBay. And I am still waiting on my drawer pulls. Don't know when they will get here.

Started work on another HEB delivery order. Probably have to release this one soon. Probably cook tomorrow for dinner so that will cover two days.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Staying with the tradition. Have to defrost the bread. Easy enough.

Twist made it to lap cat status today but Fozzy distracted him and he didn't stay long.

For project work today I mounted the two buss bars I need to connect my new charge controller to the batteries and reconnected all of the previous connections.

For housework today I just put my used dishes in the dishwasher and cleaned up the kitchen. Not much at all.

Now for the woodworking. Always the time consumer of the day. I worked on the drawers today and didn't pay attention to what I was doing and messed up one of the drawers and minor on two others. Can fix it all but should not have happened. Just a repetitive task and I lose my mind set. Now have to fix it. But got all the parts cut for four of the drawers. Wanted to put some of them together today but didn't make it. Kind of got tire and quit just a bit early. Need to order some more project panels. some more poplar and maybe one more oak board. Not sure if the one I have that is warped is going to work or not. I will check it again tomorrow and see if it will work.

Got to check and see if this is going to be a premium channel free preview weekend.

Viewing pleasure today was more YouTube Videos.

Got up early to watch the crew launch of the Falcon 9 but due to bad weather in the abort zone it was postponed. Going to try again tomorrow and going to set my alarm clock. Launch is scheduled for about 4:49 am our time tomorrow.

Ashley has a new podcast out I need to listen too.

Gold is hanging out in the upper quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude isn't moving much. Seems to be slowly backing away from its 52 week high though. Don't think gas prices have come down. At least the few I checked last night hadn't.

Just ordered the remaining material I needed to finish the dresser. Going to have a lot invested in material. Wood certainly isn't cheap anymore but I need it to finish.

Got a ton of cardboard to put out in recycle tomorrow. All my material came in big boxes. Recycle.

Today is April 22nd. Days. The next full moon is getting close.

Did the truck start, run and drive today. Nice to be able to take it outside of the subdivision. Don't have to drive in circles anymore. Need to put the rest of my generator gas into the truck.

Got one junk call today. Didn't pay any bills.

Forgot to mention about the Modern Coin Mart order. Don't know when that is coming in. Thinking I am going to have another massive credit card bill next month. Again.

Got the shop sorted but haven't put the car up yet. Don't think I will take a drive tonight.

No premium channel free preview this weekend. They are kind of getting rare.

I think that is going to do it for this entry.

Disappointed in the rain.

For all the almost certain forecast of rain we barely got a trace but I guess the forecast was right. We did get some rain. Just really not even enough to measure in my rain gauge. I did run an errand today and I did have to turn on the windshield wipers. I guess that counts as rain. Was a humid day too. I was starting to sweat out in the shop. Was warmer today than yesterday and is warmer tonight. My outside temperature gauge shows it to be 75°F with 94% humidity. Very humid tonight. It has been trying to rain and the radar shows something over us but it isn't raining. There is a big storm cell but is probably going to pass to the south of us. The forecast is still calling for thunderstorms staring like right now but nothing is happening. Looks like any kind of rain is entirely going to miss us.

I carried on the tradition and had my cheese sandwich today. Was good.

Did manage to make it up early this morning and watch the launch of the Falcon 9 Crew launch. Everything went well. Always interesting to watch it launch and recover the booster. They still make it look so easy but I am sure the enormous amount of hard work it must take to make it look easy. Looking at the 26th for the next watchable launch. A Delta rocket.

I got one item delivered today from eBay. Got my Purell hand sanitizer in today. Didn't order anything though. I also got my drawer pulls in today along with the first box of LiFePO4 batteries that I ordered. Also my order from Modern Coin Mart has shipped. Still have a lot of item outstanding. Once I finish my dresser I probably won't be ordering much. I still have projects to work on though.

I can hear rain hitting my sky light. Not much at the moment. And I did hear some thunder. Still looks like the main part of the storm is going to pass well to the south of us. Will keep mentioned it.

For housework today I sorted, folded and put away my load of whites. I cleaned up a couple of cat deposits. Poor Fozzy. Not going to be easy to be a long haired cat. I cut up all the cardboard boxes and put them in the recycle bin except for one big one and I will just put that out next to my bin in the morning.

Day two of my stitches gone. Itching pretty much completely gone now. I still have some stitches under the skin that are suppose to dissolve. Don't know how long exactly that takes.

The shop is pretty much a mess at the moment. Going to take a little bit to get it sorted. I managed to get two drawers built today. Didn't put in the bottom panels. They seemed to fit perfectly before I put the drawers together and now they are just a fraction to big. Have to trim the down. Did a bit of sanding to fix my goofs on the drawers and routed the edge on the top, sanded that and the face frame. Just really close to stain. I also cut the grove in the skirt board and sanded that. Should do some staining tomorrow.

No project work today except for just a touch of sorting out my project table. Nothing more than than.

Can't really tell from tracking if I am going to get anything delivered tomorrow. I did schedule a delivery from Home Depot. I think it was my project panels. I know I have oak boards yet to be delivered. I think my slightly warped boards are going to work for drawers. So I will use them instead of the two new boards that I ordered.

Need to do more work on my HEB delivery order. Think I am going to cook tomorrow for two days.

Spent a good part of the day in the shop. Tired tonight plus getting up early to watch the launch.

The lawn company didn't come at all this week.

Going to take a short break and sort out the shop.

Got the shop sorted but haven't put up the car yet.

Probably going to have to turn on the air conditioner tomorrow. Looks like a warmup. And will only get hotter.

Going to be a free shredding event in Missouri City next Saturday. Got a box of paper I need shredded.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
