Just a trace of rain today.

Got just a few sprinkles today. Looked at the radar and it looking like we were going to get a lot of rain but about all we got was a few sprinkles. Not much at all. Nothing at all for the next week or so until next Friday. Then that looks like a decent chance of rain. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 58°F with 69% humidity. Was a bit cool outside in the shop. Stopped one time because it felt a little cool. Overall it was nice shop weather. Tomorrow looks like it is going to be pretty much like today. The forecast looks like nice weather for awhile yet but summer is coming. Not looking forward to another hot humidity summer here but I have been through so many of them. Officially it is 57°F with 67% humidity. Not too bad. Didn't really notice that today as it was cool.

Tired tonight and I really slept lated this morning. Don't really like to do that but some days I do. Still just about ready for bed. I have the shop mostly sorted out. Still have to move my dresser though. Thinking I might go out for a drive tonight.

Nothing to report in the gold or crude market as they didn't trade today.

This is day eleven of my minor surgery. My stitches are itching. Thinking I just have Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to do the vaseline and bandage routing and I can get these removed. Go in about mid afternoon on Tuesday.

Amazingly enough I have cleared my eBay orders. Nothing except for that one that I think is lost left to be delivered. And I haven't ordered anything lately. I got my 1" water tight connector in today and that was the last item I was waiting on. I also got my poplar for my drawers delivered today along with the router bit I ordered from Rockler. Still have items yet to come in from Home Depot and Costco. So still expecting stuff to come in. Might get my Costco order on Monday but I am not expecting my Home Depot stuff to come in until the end of the week.

Nothing in the way of project work today. Haven't done any work on that in quite a few days. Will restart that soon and do a few things.

For housework today I did the dishes, put them in the dishwasher and ran it. I also epoxied the second bolt for the transfer switch. I also installed the straight water tight fitting and cleaned up all the wiring run though it. So much easier with one inch fittings. Got to drill and epoxy the third bolt yet. Brought the recycle bin up to the porch. Still need to take the trash bin to the back porch.

Forgot today was the truck start, run and drive. Have to do that tomorrow. Could do it tonight but I think I will take my car.

Still concentrating on woodworking. I got the fourth and fifth dust frame installed and did a little work on the other end panel. Didn't get everything done today that I planned to but that rarely happens anyway. I will be ready to put the other end panel on tomorrow. Then start the face frame trim work. It should start to look like something. Got to sand and route the edges on the top. Build the drawers too. Still a lot to do on it. I have the Danish oil to test the stain. Actually ready to finish this and end my woodworking for the season. I have spent a lot of time in the shop. Just want to do some small project for my solar system.

I plan to rewire my solar panels so I can send 36 volts to my new controller. Can't rearrange my panels like I wanted to but I can make it work by rewiring the panels. My new controller will take up to 100 volt input. So I have the opportunity to put all of my solar panels in service. The other controller can only take upto 24 volt input and I have the odd solar panel that I couldn't use but now I can. Have to make a new buss bar though.

Twist was a lap cat early this morning. He really doesn't miss that opportunity to get in my lap.

Still need one more oak board to finish my dresser and a couple more red oak project panels. Just ordered it a long with the drawer pulls I wanted. They had a tremendous selection of cup pulls. Didn't think they would have that many and they had a lot. Says I will get them next Friday. Turning into an expensive project. I am estimating right now I have probably spent over $400 in wood. Or close to it. Understandable why furniture isn't cheap. Plus all the time. No way I could make a living doing custom furniture work.

The IRS has cashed my quarterly check. Nothing from Chase on my IRA deposit yet. Last time it took awhile for it to show up. Waiting until that clears to mail my taxes. Just going to mail that early this year even though I owe them.

Paid my gas bill today. Was a lot less than last months.

Going to recycle some wood from my kitchen table to use on my dresser.

No junk calls today.

Instead of the car I took the truck out tonight for its start, run and drive. Rarely take the truck out at night. But I thought I would tonight.

I think that will do it for tonight.
