Felt a drop or two of rain.
Apr. 18th, 2021 10:14 pmKind of an odd rain. Was just a drop or two I felt while I was drilling the third hole for my transfer switch. Was just a partly cloudy sky but definitely felt a couple of drops of rain and that was about it. Right now This Friday is looking like it has a decent chance of rain. The temperatures are going to be moderate for the next week or so and might make it that far without having to run the air conditioner. Right now I have my central heat on. Finally gave up this morning and turned it back on. The house was just a bit too cool. Was a nice day overall. Waiting until it warmed up enough to do some work in the shop. Right now my outside temperature gauge says it is about 57°F with 62% humidity. Parts of the country are getting record cold temperatures. Nothing like we had but some have freeze warnings as far south as Dallas. But the hot humid summers are on there way. Got to enjoy these for then extended time.
Did just a little house work today. I drilled and installed the third bolt for my transfer switch. I put up the dishes from the dishwasher. And I move the trash bin to the back yard and brought my recycle bin inside. Some housework I can claim.
Yes. I did do some project work today. I started building the new buss bars I am going to need to install my new charge controller. Didn't get too far on them but they are started. Was planning to mount the charge controller today but didn't do it.
As usual my main work has been woodworking. I installed part of the out end panel. Kind of fortunately it broke off from the panel so I just decided to install it that way. It made it a lot easier to camp just that one piece. I will do the rest of the panel later. I also put two pieces of face frame on and cut three more to be trimmed to size and installed. I should be able to finish trimming the face frame tomorrow. It does seem like I always plan more than I actually do.
So for viewing pleasure today I watched YouTube Video's. No bills paid today or junk calls.
No lap cat as of yet.
Tired tonight and ready for another one to be over.
Got the shop sorted but still have to put up the car.
The wind is now just about completely calm. was windy earlier.
Today is day 12 of my minor surgery. Still doing the doctor's orders. Not itching at the moment. Just tomorrow and Tuesday and they come out Tuesday. Going to be a relief to get them out.
Read LOL Cats today. Try to never miss it.
Wasn't an eBay delivery day but I did order some Kearnys. I wanted something that made a bit more positive connection for my transfer switch. I think I have some but not sure where they are.
Made some more candles tonight. Scented with Dragon's Blood.
I think that is going to do it for this entry.
