Was just a bit warmer today and going to be warmer still tomorrow. Didn't get any rain today. Yesterday we did get some precipitation but as far as I know today was totally dry. It was a nice day but cloudy. Nothing looks too impressive for rain chance until we get past the middle of April. Today is Easter. Going to be noticeably warmer for a while. Don't know how much longer I can last without turning on the air conditioning. Just have to do it soon though. No way to last much longer here without air conditioning. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 67°F with 75% humidity. Officially it is 65°F with 81% humidity. Don't think we are going to get any fog. Should make it through tomorrow with no air conditioning and after that it is going to get kind of iffy.
Did order one item from eBay today. I ordered a new drill and tap set. Couldn't find my bit for my existing tap. The cost for just the right bit was the same for the drill and tap set so I just ordered the drill and tap set. I will have an extra tap now. I did see a USPS truck drive by here today. Must have been delivering to someone on a Sunday. Especially an Easter Sunday but wasn't to me. I also ordered some more oak from Lowes. Not going to have enough to finish my dresser without the extra wood. This project is pretty much going to use up the rest of my oak stash. Now I am having to order more. But it was nice to have a ready supply of oak when I needed it. Didn't believe I would ever work my way through all of that but I have.
Might get two items in tomorrow. Hard to really tell from the tracking but it looks promising.
For housework today I put up the dishes and cleaned the kitchen including the stove. Vacuumed the den and rerouted the extension cord to my entertainment center so it would be out of the way. Not much else. Brought the recycle bin back inside and can start added items to it now.
For wood working I built a display case for my seven inch screen and got that all set up for FM radio. Had to invert the screen to make it work. Only a minor change to the configuration. I also finished one of the dust frames. Would have started on the second but didn't have the biscuits slots cut in the rail.
For project work I added a voltage gauge to my solar center to monitor my new battery pack. And mentioned in woodworking I got my small screen computer set up to run FM radio and got it working. I probably should get me a new power strip. Don't ever seem to have enough plugs.
I also pulled the pull cord back into the attic and have that ready. I meant to do the rest of the attic work today but didn't. I did drill the hole in the soffit board. I was expecting it to be Hardy plank or wood but it was just compressed paper. Drill went right through it in about two seconds. Got that drilled. Now I have to push the fish tape into the attic and then go attached the pull cord to it and pull it outside and bring the other end to the attic stars. Got to attach the fiber optic cable to the pull cord and pull it all the way into the kitchen. The worst part is just going to be getting over to attach the pull cord to the fish tape. I hope that isn't too much trouble.
Today was Pilar's birthday. Reminded Gary but haven't heard anything from Pilar or Gary.
Tired tonight.
Got the shop sorted already. For as much stuff as I had out it went pretty quick. Haven't got the car put up yet. Need to do that and put it on charge. Don't know if I am going out for a drive tonight or not.
Didn't check last night but now for the gold and crude report. Gold is back into the lower portion of $1700 and ounce. Crude moved up somewhat. Still lagging a good bit below its 52 week high.
Still waiting on my receipt for getting my truck inspected. Need to check and see if I have gotten paid yet. Never really know when I am going to be paid. Sometime early and sometimes later. Checked and haven't gotten paid yet.
Going to have to pay my credit card bill soon. Expensive. Had my insurance and a couple of major purchases on it plus my normal charges.
No lap cat tonight. At least not yet. The cats do seem to like my new chair. Not going to use it as a computer chair and just let them have it to sleep and look outside.
Listened to some more of Ashley's podcast. Almost done.
My viewing pleasure for today was only YouTube videos. I did read LOL Cats today. Never miss it.
The full moon this month is on the 26th.
