kind of a day long mist.
Mar. 24th, 2021 10:14 pmNever really rained today as such but we seemed to have had this misting which lasted most of the day. Just really enough to keep the concrete and roads wet. Other areas may have gotten more. On an errand I could see water in the gutters so maybe it was a bit spotty on the rain fall. The forecast shows likely rain early in the morning tomorrow. Some more moderate chances of rain to come in the forecast. Still looking like it is going to be warm almost hot on Saturday. And more and more temperatures are showing to be in the 80°F for the high. My outside temperature gauge shows it to be about 67°F with 97% humidity. Officially it is 67°F with 92% humidity.
Today was a full day of eBay. I both placed an order and received an order. I got my shower curtain liner in today. Haven't installed it yet. Ordered some quarter inch brass rod for another small project and some post hole diggers. Need them to work on my mailbox. This will be the third pair that I have bought. The first two were loaned out and never returned. I pretty much only need them for one possibly two projects. But now I have them just incase I need them. Didn't really want to rent a set. I can do the project now on my schedule. I also ordered a mailbox post from Walmart. Depending on how it is put together I might modify it some. Got to make a new base for my mailbox anyway. Wanted some black paint when I ordered my kerosene but they only had one container available. Going to look again tonight. Also got my Li-ion batteries in today. Don't know if the shipping difference was refunded or not. I assume it was but I haven't checked. So as a recount I have one item out on Walmart and seven items out on eBay. Might possible get two items in tomorrow from eBay. Hard to tell from the tracking as they really don't show the current status. One might be my phone and the other would be the hinge for my blanket chest. If so I can finally finish that except for maybe putting in a cedar lining. Don't know if I am going to do that or not.
No housework today. Should backtrack on that just a bit. I did vacuum the hall and that does count but not much in the way of house work.
Really no wood working except to drill a hole in one of my for Fun LED projects. Still planning to start on my dresser soon. Might do some more on Visio tonight designing it. I think I might have just enough wood on hand to build it. At least for the oak part. I know I don't have enough to make all the dust frames. Really want plywood that is three quarters thick and not the 23/32nds or something like that thickness. So I just ordered some poplar to make dust frames. Don't really know what I am getting. Just some in general type of information. Might have to order more to finish the dust frames. Wait and see.
Today was mostly concentrating on project work. I wanted to finish the fourth and final battery module and get it installed in the battery rack. Got that done so that project is finished. Don't have the solar charger for it yet. Going to wait on that and just charge it right now from the inverter. Going to be just kind of a backup system at the moment. I also drilled the ping pong balls for my Fun LED project. Also drilled the hole for the power jack.
The car is outside still. Had it out to run an errand and needed to use the drill press so essentially nothing to sort out in the shop. Just need to put the car up. Don't know if I am going out for a drive or not.
Watched a bit of The Curse of Oak Island today along with multiple YouTube videos for viewing pleasure.
Gold seems like it has been stable for a several days. Crude feel back even more today. Backing away from its 52 week high and now has a good bit of ground to cover to get back to that level.
Did manage to watch the launch of the Falcon 9 this morning. Mostly because I set my alarm to wake me up in time to watch it. Flawless and no scrubs or postponements. Don't see anything more for the Falcon 9 until late in April.
Was a bit cool in here tonight so I lit my Aladdin. The fired heater did come on.
Kind of looking forward to some skylight rain listening if we do get rain. Do see something really big developing back to the west and north. Might bring a lot of rain. Kind of hard to know. The hourly forecast seems to say it gets here about 5:00 am.
Getting closer to the end of my lease. Got to start looking around soon to decided what I want to do. I know I want another electric. Still have a few months.
Been working on my HEB delivery order. I think I am going to set it for Monday delivery and release it some time this weekend. Still working on it.
Still listening to Ashley's podcast. Should finish it tonight.

No lap cat tonight.
Put my new computer chair together. Just a lot taller than my current chair and smaller. Haven't tried it as a computer chair yet. Thought about getting this one recovered but probably cost more than a new one.
Got the car put up. Kind of thought with the humidity so high it would get foggy and it is starting to get foggy outside. A bit longer drive than I had planned though. Kind of eerie driving in the fog at night.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
