Although forecast to start about 2:00 am this morning we finally did get the forecast rain starting this afternoon. I think we got a decent amount of rain but I haven't checked my rain gauge. I did go out to mail a letter after the rain had pretty much stopped and the gutters looked like they had got a good rain. Radar still shows we are getting some rain but it should move out of here soon. I will check my rain gauge tomorrow.
Looks like that is going to be the end of the rain for the next week or so. Some higher chances after that but it is the weather. Just have to wait until we get closer to those dates. Much colder today too. Maybe about 20°F cooler today. But it looks like it is going to warm up a bit tomorrow and be back to pleasant by Wednesday and for some time to come after that.
Mailed a bill tonight. My landscaping company. Got it to the post office. Didn't really seem to be raining but were getting a light mist. No other bills paid today. Still have all my insurance to pay. Should go ahead and just pay my home owners insurance. Major bill I guess but sometimes I do have credit card bills that are higher.
Now starts the waiting on when I am going to get paid. Never seems to be consistent but it always comes. Just really never know when.
Listened to part of Ashley's pod cast and will finish listening to it tonight. Should just become a patreon for her.
Well, both crude and gold fell back quite a bit today. I did check gas prices tonight on my drive to the post office and they haven't changed. Looks like they have been stable for a couple of weeks or so.
No Rocket launch today. Maybe tomorrow sometime before 7:00 pm our time.
Today filled both categories of an eBay day. I ordered something and got three items in. Got my candles scents in today so now I can start making scented candles. Got my mini switches in too for my light towers. And got my 10 awg wire for my battery packs so I got a lot of project material in. Can move forward on a number of projects. I also got my Amazon order in today. The antislip mat for my record player. Haven't opened it yet.
For projects today I did my monthly recharge on my fireflies. Probably could go longer but those cells have the capability to recharged a lot of times. Not much else in the way of project work. Thought I was going to lay out one of the buss bars for the battery stack but didn't do that. My project table didn't take long to get back into a mess.
No wood working today. Kind of cold outside and I didn't even take the car out.
For housework today I cleaned up my office and vacuumed it. Fixed one of the slip pads on my chair and went through all my mail. Mentioned earlier I paid one of the old paper bills with an actually check. I also clean off of one of the counter tops in the bath room. Partially vacuumed my closet. Tried to do a little more house work each day. Oh, I did the usually morning dished put into the dishwasher and kitchen cleaned too. So easy to let the project work and wood working take up all my time.
The Flash filled my viewing pleasure for tonight. Shouldn't have very many episodes left. Filled in with some YouTube videos too.
Fozzy made a brief appearance in my lap but didn't stay.
Tomorrow is my HEB delivery. Scheduled for 2:00. Still can't order specific sliced bread but I do have some HEB made bread on order that I can just slice myself for my cheese sandwich Fridays. Last order had a very unusual amount of withdrawals and substitutions. Going to be interesting to see how this order fairs. Got to be ready at 2:00. They usually show up right at 2:00.
My outside temperature gauge says about 53°F with 100% humidity. Officially 53°F and 94% humidity. Temperatures match.
Got two junk calls today. One on my cell phone. The social security fraud scam. The other probably one of those 95% fund raiser calls.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
