Wasn't a rainy day.
Jan. 31st, 2021 10:24 pmIt was a very rain free day with lots of sunshine and wind too. Not a hint of rain though. Now it seems the forecast has changed to show the next appreciable chance of rain isn't until about February 9th. Kind of looks like we might be in a short dry spell. Hopefully not like the one that was practically all of November. My outside temperature gauge shows it to be a cool about 52°F with 53% humidity. Kind of a dry night outside. Officially 53°F with 52% humidity. So pretty close agreement. Now showing a couple of days at the end of the week were it does drop below 60°F for the high. Looks like it is going to be the coldest day we have had in a while. It has been quite windy the last few days.
Sundays generally aren't eBay days at all. But I did see prime out delivering today. Looks like I am going to get at least one item in tomorrow. Possible my ping pong balls. I was hoping my tent poles would come in soon. Looks like they are getting closer. The old fiberglass ones just split. Can't really repair them so I just threw them away. I did get a measurement so I could possibly find some replacement ones.
Today was recharge day so I guess that counts as project work. I had to repair one of my fireflies as a wire had come loose. Got that done and that was the extent of my project work.
Did put up the dishes and cooked for dinner tonight. Also made a new plug for my clock.
As usually all of my work was in the shop. Got the last piece of back installed. That just took forever to line up but just about five minutes to install. I also finished the new shelf for my nick Knack book case. Haven't put the finish on it yet. Finished trimming the bottom to fit and make the first cut on the ply wood back. Will trim that to fit tomorrow and also use my wood filler to start the repair on a couple of places. This stuff makes really good repairs. Already got the shop sorted so I have to put my car up. Got the mail a little earlier. Just a package and one letter.
No junk calls today. Both Fozzy and Twist achieved lap cat status today.
Only YouTube videos for viewing pleasure today. Should check before I got to bed just to see if this was a free weekend. Kind of late now to watch anything as they usually go off at midnight.
Got the car put up. Does feel cold outside.
Gold trading close to the midrange of $1800 an ounce. Crude seems to be holding where it has been. Backed off its recent high by a bit.
Now the Falcon 9 starlink mission has moved back another day. Seems like it has been doing that for awhile. Now scheduled on February 2nd. Another one on the fourth.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
