The chance of rain forecast for today kind of faded overnight I guess because the forecast today only showed cloudy with no chance of rain to speak of. However, we did get just a small spattering of rain. Not even sure to call it rain. More like just a light mist. Did sort of wet the concrete but that was about the extent of it. Now nothing that looks like any kind of elevated chance of rain until next Friday. I was looking forward to listening to the rain today too. Kind of relaxing the listen to the rain fall on my sky light. Kind of remarkably warm tonight. My outside temperature gauge show about 69°F with 91% humidity. Officially 69°F with 89% humidity so basically a very good agreement. Looking well into February I don't see anything like winter temperatures at all. Of course it looks like it is still going to get cold at nights but the day time highs are in the 6o's to 70's. Good for my gas bill.
Today was an eBay day in both categories. Got something in for my wood working and also ordered something for my wood working. So still have a lot of outstanding items I am waiting on. Ordered some more router bits from Rockler so I have about reach just really close to what I can do on my entertainment center until I get those bits in. Waiting on lots of stuff.
Not a project day at all. That might change while I wait on bits. I did do some housework today. I ran the washing machine and got that done. Vacuumed the hall as much as I could before my vacuum cleaner stopped on thermal overload. I going to send some old paper targets to paper recycle and part of my collection of kitty litter buckets to recycle too. Going to put out more stuff this next weekend to see if the scrap guy will picked it up too. I guess it was him that took my 8' light fixture but it was gone in a hurry. No one seemed to want my project aluminum cans. The regular recycle picked those up so they are gone now. I won't be tempted to work on that science project. I am going to try to avoid any more science projects. Doesn't include what I call project work though. Those really aren't science projects but just small fun things that I want to do.
Well for wood working today I managed to get the skirt boards installed. Took a lot longer than I thought it would but they are on there. Doesn't look too bad but I do have to do some repair work with the plastic wood. Shouldn't be too noticeable. I got the other two drawer guides done. Had to do them twice. But they are done. I did the round overs on the top and finished sanding it. Really ready for the Danish Oil. Doesn't sound at all like a lot for the amount of time that it took. Have tomorrow's work schedule in my head. Got to see just how much of that I actually get done. Like I have always said I don't have a schedule to follow. Oh, I also cut out the bottom. Need to trim it just a bit to get it to fit.
As usual no gold and crude discussion tonight as they don't trade on Saturday. Plenty of platinum coins now available but they have gone up in price about $200 so that kind of balances supply and demand.
Viewing pleasure was just more YouTube videos. Still haven't checked to see if this was a premium channel free preview weekend. Might do that tonight.
No bills paid today but I did get one junk call.
The Falcon 9 Star link mission got moved back again until February 1st. Seems to get postponed a lot. Trying to catch the hop of Starship #9. Never seems to happen. Gets scrubbed a lot. Been trying to catch it on the Everyday Astronaut's YouTube channel.
Can't put my tent back up until my new aluminum poles get here. Got some on order.

Going to try to build my new shelf for my nick knack book case tomorrow. The remaining piece from the entertainment center bottom. Still really haven't decided on the drawer fronts. Need some nice pulls though.
The shop was pretty much in a mess but got it sorted early in the evening. Just went out to put up the car. Didn't check the mail though. Since tomorrow is Sunday I can do it then. Tomorrow is also LOL Cats day. Always look forwarded to that as it always brings a smile and/or a laugh and sometimes a head scratching. Can be all three.
Still waiting on doors for my entertainment center. Still haven't put the last piece of bottom in my blanket chest. I ordered a project panel of three quarters. I am debating cutting that to fit my blanket chest. Still really haven't found the right hinge for it. I need a brass hinge that is only three fourth wide or one inch wide. I can't seem to find it but I think I have one on my other blanket chest.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
