Okay. No rain today.

Was a very nice day. Got a lot of sunshine with a few times of cloudy but very much a nice day with just about perfect shop weather. Was a bit cool to start with but was plenty warm to work and warmed up nicely too. The forecast is still saying there is a moderate chance for showers tomorrow starting after lunch and running for a few hours. Since tomorrow is the 30th that pretty much ends the rain chances for the Month of January. Nothing really looking promising for rain to start in February for about a week or so into the month. Temperature are still looking just amazingly moderate as far out as the forecast goes. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 55°F with 88% humidity. Kind of high tonight. Officially 55°F with 86% humidity. Not bad agreement. Some nights they are close. I think the official weather station is at the Airport which is not too far from here. It would be nice to get some rain tomorrow. I love to listen to it on the skylight. The past couple of rains have not be heavy enough to hear anything.

Today was not an eBay day in either category. Didn't order anything or receive anything although I haven't checked the mail but I didn't get any notification that anything was delivered. I did order some more router bits from Rockler. My straight cutting bit I think has given up and is kicking back. A sign that it really isn't cutting like it should so I ordered a new one and a slot cutting bit to help build the drawers for my entertainment center. Still waiting on my doors to come in. Really excited to see what they look like. Didn't want to build them myself so I just ordered the custom built out of red oak. I could have built them but decided after looking at the price to have them custom made I would just go that way. So still waiting on a lot of items to come in. I did get my pin nailer today though. So did get one item in and off my waiting list. Also want to see my MaxBrite Aladdin lamp and what is different from the old number 23 burner lamps.

I did do some house work today. Seems like I was busy all day long in one form or another. I finished putting up my load of whites. Got the kitchen cleaned up and all the dishes in the dishwasher. Probably wait a bit longer to run it. Put out my recycle bin tonight with my project aluminum can along with an 8 foot florescent light fixture that I really didn't want to throw away but wanted to recycle in some form. So the scrap guy picked up my light fixture but I guess again didn't want my project aluminum cans. The regular recycle will pick those up. So that science project is over and I won't be tempted to resume it. I thought it would be an interesting project but would really never be more than just a science project and not really practical.

Tired tonight. Been really busy all day.

No project work today but I did find a combination of LED's and resistors that I had that would work with my 24 volt battery packs. Have to play with that some after I finish my entertainment center.

Again most of my time was on wood working today. Got the top drawer support back brace installed. Got all the drawer sides cut and slots for the back but haven't cut the backs yet. Finished fitting my skirt boards but kind of slipped on one of the trim cuts so it is back to the wood filler to repair it as I don't want to make another one. It was the front trim board that had the cut out. The wood filler I have should make it barely noticeable. I thought I could finish this week but that isn't going to happen. I will probably install the skirt trim tomorrow and maybe cut and install the cabinet floor. I will probably try to route the top edges too. Don't think I am going to do any more that just use a round over for both the top and bottom edge of the top. Something simple. I have something in mind for my drawer front. Haven't really decided if I like it or not. Kind of looks good but I only tested in a smaller piece. And once I cut the floor I think I will use the remaining piece to make another shelf for my nick knack book case. Only half and inch thick but with the front trim installed it will look just like all the other shelfs which are three quarter thick. Probably never hold books again so it should be plenty strong.

Just more YouTube videos for viewing pleasure. Still haven't checked to see if this is a free preview weekend.

Got the shop sorted except for bringing the entertainment center in and putting up my collapsible work bench. Won't take long and then I will put the car up and check the mail while I am out there.

Got the car put up. Got some mail today but no packages.

The next Falcon 9 Starlink mission has now moved to the 31th.

Today is the 29th. Days. Still a big bright beautiful moon out tonight. Suppose to not be the full moon but does still look full.

Gold looks like it moved up and then fell right back to where it started in the lower quarter of $1800 an ounce. Crude looks like it has been flat now for several days.

Fozzy made lap cat of the day and is still here.

Did the cheese sandwich today. Keeping up with the tradition.
