Cooler but no rain.

Today was probably going to be the coldest day we have for awhile. Didn't rain a drop today either. Might get rain this Saturday. We do have somewhat higher than normal rain chance. Just have to wait and see. Haven't got just a lot of rain in the last week or so although we did get some. Total maybe just over a tenth of an inch here. Just thinking this weather is so un-winter like. Lots of shop time looking temperatures coming and extending out as far as the forecast goes. Going to get a bit colder tonight too. Down to 43°F. My outside temperature gauge shows it to be just about 46°F at 59% humidity. Officially 49°F at 73% humidity. Not quite in agreement. Still a lot of winter ahead of us and still plenty of time to get some cold weather.

Wasn't an eBay day in either category. Didn't get anything in or order anything. Haven't checked my mail tonight but didn't get any kind of notice that I received anything. Still have three items from eBay and three from Rockler. I am suppose to get my pin nailer in tomorrow. Shows it coming in tomorrow. Still waiting on my MaxBright Aladdin.

Tired tonight. Short break. Think I can finish now.

Had both Twist and Fozzy as lap cats today. Fozzy is here now.

Tonight is the full moon for January. Ashley should be charging her crystals. Some low clouds here tonight but can still see the moon.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Will have to thaw out the bread but in good shape for all the ingredients.

Gold is trading midrange of $1800 an ounce. Crude retreated just a little bit more. Backed away again from its recent high.

More YouTube videos for viewing pleasure today. Got to check sometime and see if this is going to be another premium channel free preview weekend. Last weekend was but covered only about four channels.

Did a little housework today. I did sort and fold my whites but haven't put them up yet. Still meant to clean up the kitchen but haven't done that. I did make some candles today recycling some soy wax mixed with fresh. Scrubbed the shower just a little today. Cut some boxes apart and put them in my paper recycle box.

I am going to put out my aluminum project cans tomorrow. The last ones I thought the scrap guy would pick up. Debating about putting out my 8' light fixture to see if he would pick that up. Keeping thinking I might have a use for it but it has set in the wood bin forever. Might as well see if he will pick it up and probably regret later when I figure out something I could have used it for.

No real project work today. I have been looking at what I can do with a current limiting resistor so I can use the straight 24 volt power supply but I haven't found a combination of resistors and LED that I have that will work. Going to keep trying. I have a lot of color changing LED's. Did order some more ping pong balls that I can use for diffusers.

Wood working as always was my major work today. I managed to fit the back support on the lower drawer support. Knew it was going to be a chore. But it is on. Try to fit the lower one tomorrow. I also finished the cut out in the front skirt board and did the edge routing on all three. Might be able to fit those to the entertainment center. Trying to decide how I want to do the drawer fronts but haven't decided on anything. Might have to test something that I have in mind. Don't know how it will look.

Got to go out and get the mail tonight before I go to bed.

Paid my TV and internet bill today. Another paperless bill that I now get.

Got one junk call today. Kind of rare to just get one. But it the same one saying she is a Medicare advisor. Same name always so is a robocall.

Might put my trash bin out too. Don't really have a full load but might put a few more items in tomorrow. Made a bit more sawdust today that I need to put in.

Still playing with my five sided boxes. Remembered I have some elastic I could use to clamp them together.
