Nothing fell from the sky today. No rain.
Jan. 26th, 2021 10:11 pmLooks like today was the start of just a few rain free days to come. Don't see anything in an elevated chance for rain until this Saturday and it has a moderate chance of rain. The next higher chance of rain is March 4th. As always it is weather and quite subject to change. Today is the 26 of January so this month is just about over. Tomorrow is probably going to be the coldest day until we get further into February and then only one day below 60°F is forecast. Still looking like a mild winter. Can see the forecast until February 9th.
I don't think this was an eBay day. Tracking didn't show anything coming in today but I haven't checked my mail today. I already have the car put up. Wasn't much to sort out in the shop today. Most of my day was taken up by another matter. And it was an ordeal. Not expecting anything in tomorrow either. The saga of my Danish oil is continuing. Got another notice today that it has shipped. Since I have long since received it I don't know what is going on. Just have to wait and see if another one shows up. I think I have enough left in the first one to finish my entertainment center.
Tired tonight.
No real wood working today. I did manage to adjust my biscuit joint back to its old position so I can finish the top drawer support. And that is about it for wood working. Well, I did play some with my five sided box.
No housework today. Did play with a remote control relay tonight. Thought it was a latching relay but I can't seem to make it do that. And that is the feature I wanted. To remote control lights and have them stay on but it doesn't seem to have that feature. Was a good try. Just something fun.
Only more YouTube videos today for viewing pleasure. Tonight the Curse of Oak Island is on and I will have to catch up with that.
The Falcon 9 launch has now been moved back to the 30th. Really doesn't look like much is going to launch in February.
Fozzy made it to lap cat tonight.
Gold is still trading about the midway point of $1800 an ounce. Crude recovered just a tiny bit. Still down from its recent high.
No bills paid today.
Got my Dietz lit in my office and two candles and my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen.
The full moon is just two days away.
Short entry tonight.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
