Well, no rain today.

Not a day for rain although for the most of the day it was cloudy and it looked like we could get some rain but nothing materialized here. Not watching the radar so I don't know if anywhere close got rain. Was a very nice day otherwise. A bit cool in the morning but it warmed up nicely to good shop weather and I spent most of my time out in the shop. This is the case of the disappearing rain chances. It seems the rain chances for Tuesday and Wednesday have all but disappeared. The next decent chance of rain is not until Thursday. Friday looks a bit better for rain. Showing a few more days with a rain chance about the usual rain chance. The day time temperature just look phenomenal. Doesn't seem like January at all. I think I heard someone's air conditioner click on today. Kind of hard to believe. Night time temperatures are going to be pretty moderate too. Great shop weather. Grass is probably going to start growing again.

The lawn company didn't come today. Probably won't come at all this week. If the weather stays like this might see some more growing. Weather is just not like I remember it at this time of year. Still, like I have said there is still a lot of winter left to come.

Twist was a momentary lap cat. Just in and out.

No project work today. It was MLK day today so no mail delivery but I did see other delivery services out today. But it wasn't an eBay. At least for delivery. I did order some more beech wood biscuits for my plate joiner. Starting to run low and pretty sure I am going to run out on this project. Use them all the time. Still have a lot of outstanding items and one more now. Might get something in tomorrow. Tracking might be showing that.

Gold seems to be trading close to the midrange of $1800 an ounce. Crude seems to be steady again. Doesn't look like it moved much at all.

Did some house work today. Scrubbed a bit more on the shower and bleached a bit more of the tile. Also moved all the textiles from one blanket chest to the other. One was full and the other only about a quarter full. Kind of balanced the load so I can add more to one of the blanket chest. Reorganized my candles too. One more box down. Got about half the kitchen clean. Still have the silverware to clean and put in the dishwasher. Plan to run it tonight. Did some dusting too.

For wood working I continued on the face frame. Didn't finish but I think I can finish that tomorrow. Just seems to take more time that I think plus I never seem to have enough clamps. Got a good bit of the frame assemble for my solar heat collector test. Probably just going to see what it can do and then put the project to rest. Already recycled all the aluminum cans I planned to use for it. Have other project I want to work on. This one was really more of a science experiment. Just using what is on hand to finish it. I guess I could use it to heat my tent. Don't know how I would make the duct work though.

Still have to sort out the shop tonight so I can put my car up. Not too big of a mess and not really cold out so it shouldn't be too bad tonight. Might go on a short drive to check gas prices. They have been up lately.

For tonight I watched more episodes of The Flash. Pretty sure I am getting close to the end of season 5 and I think I still have one more season to go. Then it will be time for Cobra Kia.

Released my HEB delivery order tonight. Scheduled for delivery at 2:00 on Wednesday. Will have been two weeks since my last delivery.

The tent is up but haven't spent any time out there. Going to go out in the shop for just a bit and sort some. Want to get that done and finish in the kitchen before going to bed.

Just finished sorting out the shop. Wasn't too bad but I mostly just get stuff out of the way of the car so I can get it into the garage. Don't really do much more than that. One day I really need to clean and organize. Maybe after this project.

Next rocket launches are scheduled for the 20th. Don't know based on the time that I will be awake to watch either. Another Falcon 9 on the 21st. Same reason I might not get to watch it.

Today is January 18th. Days. January is more than half over.

The next full moon is January 28th.

Got the car put up. Kind of cloudy out. My outdoor temperature gauge says about 63°F. Officially 63°F. They agree. Sometimes it happens.

Got two junk calls today.

Kind of wish the Museum of Natural Science would hold another auction. Enjoyed bidding on the items that they had.

Going to finish in the kitchen.
