Today saw no rain.
Was very windy today but no rain. Did put up the tent but it really didn't survive the wind. I will have to sort out the tent tomorrow. I think we did have wind warnings today and was not as warm as it was yesterday. Kind of looks like tomorrow is going to be pretty much like today. The rain chances beginning next Tuesday and following days are dropping. Lots of above normal chances for rain now showing up in the forecast along with some unbelievable warm days ahead. Cold tonight and tomorrow night but it looks like that is pretty much the end of the cold nights. Right now my outside temperature gauge shows it to be about 41°F. Officially it is 45°F Not as close as last night. Sometime they agree and other times they don't. Still finding the weather to be a bit odd.
Forgot to mention that yesterday I watch a replay of a Blue Horizons launch. They are not a satellite launching company but more of a space tourist company. They just pretty much go straight up and straight down but do reach the boundary of outer space. Electron launch tomorrow at about 1:38 am our time. Don't know if I am going to try to stay up and watch that. Way to early in the morning but sometimes I am awake then.
Today was an eBay day. Got two items in. The lamp I ordered and my scroll saw blades. Don't have any immediate use for the scroll saw blades. Just wanted to have some on hand incase I needed them. I know I have some more somewhere but haven't seen them in a long time. I put them somewhere and now can't find them. But now I will have some available. Just have to test one out to see out well it cuts. A type I have never used before. The lamp was sort of a gift for me. Will test it out sometimes next week.
Did a good bit of housework today. Mopped the floor some in the bathroom and did some more shower and other cleaning. Slowing making the bathroom look safe again. Did a load of whites and have them in the dryer and did a load of t-shirts. Having them hanging to let them finish drying before moving them to their proper location. Put my dishes in the dishwasher. Put out my recycle bin and my trash bin tonight. Neither really full but I just want to empty them. Next week going to have a full load of paper to put out for recycle so wanted the recycle bin empty of aluminum cans. I was thinking if the scrape guy came early enough I would put out a load of paper too.
Didn't do any project work today.
Did do some wood working today. As usual my head thought I could get more done than I did. I did get all the pieces for the end panels routed and ready to be put together and ready for the raised panels. And got one piece actually put together. Wanted to get the final bottom piece for the blanket chest cleaned up and installed but didn't get that done. Still have a lot to do and really haven't yet figured out how I am going to make the drawer guides. I think once I get more of it put together it will be easier to visualize what I want to do.
Just finished sorting out the shop and took the clamps off of the first two pieces to be assembled. Amazing how many clamps it takes to make sure that the joint is on right. Looks good. Hopefully will continue to assemble the end panels tomorrow. And maybe do some work on the raised panels. Think I have enough left over from the blanket chest I can use.

Twist was a lap cat tonight. Does seem to like it.
Gold drop a good bit today and is now trading in the lower quarter of $1800 an ounce. Crude fell back again today. Backed off from its recent high.

Haven't put the car up yet. I will check the mail when I go out to put up the car.
Still working on my HEB delivery order. Probably won't release until next week.
Need to sign and date my coffee table. Might try out the Danish Oil tomorrow. See what the color looks like. Didn't want to use wipe on poly especially on the legs. Was going to be very difficult to get it not show brush marks and make sure there were no drips or puddles. Hopefully since this takes so long to dry I can get a nice finish on it.
Got three junk calls today. Probably four as I heard the line beep while I was talking to a friend. Didn't leave a message so probably a junk call.
Just went out to put up the car. Got the mail. Scrap guy hasn't picked up my aluminum cans. Since they were part of a heat collection project he may not want them. If not the recycle collection will get them.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
