Still getting wind and it looks like rather high winds are going to continue for a while yet to come. Now keeping the tent up is going to be more of a wind issue than rain. The rain chance on next Tuesday has pretty much gone away but the next three days do look more promising for rain. And looking more into the forecast more days with an increased chance of rain but it is weather. It can change and does. Today was bit chilly and I never could seem to get my hands warm enough to stay out in the shop. So I kept coming in to find things to do inside until my hands warmed up. Tomorrow is suppose to warm up nicely so should have a bit more luck in the shop. Looking ahead I see a lot of temperatures that look good for shop work. Pretty much out to the end of January looks pretty mild. Still a lot of winter left but so far has been rather moderate. Only a few days that it got to freezing.
Was an eBay day today. I got one item in that was related to my project and ordered two more items. The Danish oil I order was much too light so I ordered something darker. Might be able to mix the two if I need to get something in-between. Also order some more acid brushes as my supply of brushes has been dwindling. I use them to spread glue in joints. I damaged a few of them by using exterior glue. When I use interior glue I can soak them in water and reused them but I can't do that when I use exterior glue. So for my interior projects I am being more attentive to using the interior glue. At least on joints that I need to use the brushes. Still have other items yet to come in from two companies. Don't know when those will get here.
No crude or gold trading today so makes that easy to talk about. Already have the shop mostly sorted so should just take a few minutes to get the rest of it sorted and get the car put up. Going to do that after a bit.
Put my aluminum can project out for recycle yesterday but I guess the scrap guy didn't want them because the regular recycle people picked them up. Or else he didn't come by last night. Anyway they are gone. Put my trash bin out too. Got that back on my porch. I will bring the recycle bin in when I go out to put the car up.
No project work done today but I have a few more parts in now so maybe I will do some. With the temperatures so nice in the shop it is hard to not be in the shop working on wood working projects.
My outside temperature gauge says it is about 37 °F at the moment. Cold outside. Officially 41°F. Still cold.
For house work today I scrubbed on the shower a little more and bleached the tile. I also folded and put away all of my whites and moved my load of t-shirts to the closet. Got them hanging up.
Watched more of the Flash tonight and more YouTube videos. Also watched the test firing of the SLS space craft four engines. Lasted 65 seconds out of a planned 8 minutes. Something caused the engines to shut down. Awesome to watch though. Next up is Launch One starting at about 9:00 am our time tomorrow. Electron has been rescheduled to the 18th at about 1:30 am our time. Did stay up last night and try to watch it launch but it was scrubbed. Don't know why.
Just got the car put up. Did the last little bit to sort out the shop. And it is cold outside. Brought the recycle bin up to the porch.
Don't think I got any junk calls today. Might have gotten one. Don't really remember.
Still haven't checked for the free preview weekend.
For wood working today. I cut some spacers to help put together then end panels and the front trim. Got two more pieces on one side panel and one on the other. Going to try to work on the raised panels tomorrow. Also moved forward on my solar heat collector project. Don't exactly have the right material so I am making do. I tried the Danish oil on my coffee table but it was just too light of a stain. Going to try a darker one. Didn't clean up the bottom panel for the blanket chest. Always seem to think I can do more than I actually get done but then again I don't have to finish by a certain date. Just do what I can and what I want to do. Probably already done more projects these season than most. Still have a few more projects that I want to do. It does keep me busy.
Probably clean the kitchen tomorrow and run the dishwasher. Need to vacuum and dust some too. No bills to pay today.
Fozzy is the lap cat tonight.

Don't know if I mentioned it but I had my cheese sandwiches in Friday.
Tomorrow is the LOL Cats posting. Always look forward to that.
Got my standby lamp lit in my office. And as usual I have my night light oil lamp lit and three candles. Won't let those burn after I go to bed.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
