Entirely a rain free day.

Unlike yesterday which was wet and cold today was just cold. Didn't get any rain at all but did get a lot of cold. Got an explanation of why the cold is here. Thought maybe his place got some snow but he said they didn't. Forecast says it is going to get down to 31°F. At freezing and staying there for several hours. Don't think it is going to be a problem for plumbing though. My fired heater stays turned on so should keep everything warm. Going to warm up after that and be moderately warm on Wednesday and continue that way for a while to come. Next decent chance of rain is going to be on Monday of next week and the next couple of day. Certainly keeping me out of the shop. I have made a trip or two out there to retrieve things and some very short work on the band saw. Should be back out in the shop on Wednesday.

Today covered both ends of an eBay day. Got something delivered and ordered something. Was getting close on solder so I ordered some more. Should be plenty left until the replacement stock gets here. Might get something else in tomorrow. Really hard to tell. Going to be another round the house day as it is going to be even colder than today.

Didn't do any true wood working today. Not hardy enough to brave the cold but I did get on Visio and design my next project. Another TV stand for a future upgrade in TV size. Won't be as complicated as my blanket chest. Got enough of my oak stash to build it. I did just decided to outsource the raised panel doors. Checked the price for them and just decided it was well worth it to outsource that work. I still have to do a few raised panels but I think the rejects from my blanket chest can be used for it with just some minor rework.

I put up the dishes today for house work. Did a little vacuuming but not much. I repaired my outdoor solar lights after I noticed that they haven't worked for the past two nights. Checked and found that probably the cats that play on my solar panel structure probably chewed the wires in two. They are so cute to watch and it was just a minor repair. I would rather have the kittens to watch. Got the rest of my aluminum can project down from the attic. Put the short ones out for recycle as I am not going to do any more work on the can part of the project. I will let the salvage guy have them. Went through some stuff and pitched a few items that I don't need. Also sorted out all my old records from my previous broker. Don't really need to be keeping them any more. Never really going to look at them again.

Did do some project work. Started on my fun LED project and computer code. Only minor success. Definitely got some work and have to trouble shoot it now but it is a start. Learning code too.

Started an HEB Delivery order. Just the usually items that I always get plus an order of maple syrup. Just got an order in so probably won't release this week. Didn't get as much frozen food on the last order so I am going to try to prepare more food like pasta salad. Get two days out of that. And like red beans and rice. Two days out of that too.

Car is resting in the shop. Didn't take it out today at all. Meaning the shop was basically sorted enough already. Fully charge to the 90% limit. Got another letter on the recall. Haven't looked at it so I don't know if it is the permanent fix or not. Regardless, not taking it in.

Probably got one junk call today but couldn't get to it in time.

My outside temperature gauge says it is about 35°F. Official is 37°F. Skies are going to be clear so it will still get colder.

Gold has moved half way into $1800 an ounce. Crude seems to have flattened out now. Probably not but it didn't move up or down a lot today.

Typical viewing pleasure today. Episodes of the Flash mixed in with YouTube videos. Finished watching The curse of Oak Island too.

Next launch is the 13th. The one dropped from a 747. Looks like more launches are being scheduled for this month.

Today is the 11th. Days.
