That kind of gives away my whole weather summary for tonight. We didn't get any rain at all today although the clouds looked like they could contain some rain but it didn't happen. Was cloudy today and a bit windy too but still a nice warm day. Nice and warm tomorrow and it doesn't look like New Years Eve is going to be that cold now but both Friday and Saturday now look like they are going to be cold. And the weather further down the line is looking really mild for January. Going to be moderately warms days would should be good shop days. Just kind of odd to be this warm in January for such a long time even here. I did take the tent down tonight. Forecast showed the rain might start fairly early tomorrow so I thought it best just to take it down tonight. Looks like the rain will be done by New Years Even night. I want to put up the tent just to listen to the fireworks. Going to be a bit cool though.
Watched an Arianespace Soyuz launch today. Didn't know if it was going to be carried live or not but just happened to be on YouTube and see a channel that was carrying it live. Got to watch it launch live. Quite a spectacular launch.
Did the truck start, run and drive today. Move the gas so I could put it in the tuck but haven't done that yet. Got to get the other gas can out too. It has the spout you can actually use. Need to get that done but may leave some in the can just increase power goes out for another few weeks and then add that to the truck. Really need to run the rest of the gas through the truck and put in fresh again.
Not an eBay day today. Couldn't really tell if it would be by the tracking information that I have. Didn't order anything either. I did put the trash bin out though. Not full but while it was outside I just decided to put it out and let them empty it.
Got the shop sorted already tonight. Just have to put the car up now. Did some wood working today. Did finish attaching the skirt boards to my blanket chest. Not quite an exact fit that I wanted but close. The angle cuts are just really hard to get right. But they are attached and looking pretty good. Just a little bit more sanding tomorrow and they will be ready to stain. I have moved it into the house for that. Tomorrow in the shop I will continue working on the coffee table legs. Plans are to actually finish one tomorrow. Finally figured out a way to do it. Just have to hope it works. Still waiting on a tool for the table. Don't know how much trouble it will be to fit the trim boards with it. I think the joints will look nice though if I can make it work. Got to do some test cuts first because I don't have just a lot of extra on my actual trim boards.
Didn't do any housework today except for just a bit of vacuuming tonight so I could set up my blanket chest trim boards to be stained. No project work either.
Tonight is the full moon. I will look when I go out to put up the car. Should be just a bit brighter as the perihelion is on January 2nd which is really close.
Got the car put up but clouds covered the moon. I could see it through the clouds though. Might not be the prefect night to recharge crystals.

Got a political survey phone call tonight. Asking if I was going to vote in the republican primary. Said no and that was the end of the call. From my phone records I can see that they actually called three times. I couldn't make it to the phone in time for the first two. No other junk calls though.
Tonight for my viewing pleasure I watch more of my current Netflix series The Flash and more YouTube videos.
Gas prices have gone up with the recent rise in crude price. Almost $2.00 a gallon now. Gold is still trading in the upper end of $1800 an ounce. Crude went back up some today but not has high as its recent high. Close though but not quite.
Didn't work on my HEB order. Might do some more tomorrow.
Thought Fozzy was going to be a lap cat but he didn't stay.
I think my project after finishing my coffee table is going to be a desk to put in one of my spare bed rooms and replace the desk that is in there. Going to use up another of my oak planks to do that. I would like to move my oak stash out from under the project table but not sure where.
Still have some project type work I want to do. And now that I have my higher Wattage soldering iron I think I think I can do them. My solar panels are still shaded so just putting those projects on hold. Charge day is only a couple of days away.
Do have all of my jade bangles now. One of them is agate and really pretty. I like the purple one too. Going to ship them all to Ashley eventually.
Tired tonight. About usual.
Got my stand by lap lit in my office. It does a nice job of keeping my office warm too. Got candles lit in the kitchen and my oil lamp night light. Don't know when my order of Kerosene is going to make it in.
The lawn company came today. Wasn't expecting them until next week. Now that the tent is on the patio I don't have to worry about it getting in their way. Still have to write a check and mail their bill back.
Got to pay my property tax soon. Might as well write that check and get it done.
Income tax should be easier this time. Fewer sources of income. Should still get a W2 but I didn't work much so won't be much. Mom's property is paid off. Nothing from that. No health saving accounts. Next year no W2. Taxes will be simpler still. Don't know if I will owe or not.
Looking forward to my birthday art showing Ling and myself.
