Was cloudy today and looked like it would rain but no rain today. And it was a warm one. The house actually got above the fired heater set point. Probably going to do that tomorrow too. Still looking for rain on Wednesday and Thursday. The forecast now shows it won't get quite as cold as they originally thought. Other than rain it looks like it might be a moderate day. At least warm enough to work in the shop. The rest of the forecast also looks like rather moderate temperatures. Certainly doesn't seem like winter at all. It seems like it took forever to cool off from summer but the warmer temperatures are seemingly carrying through to winter too.
Not much left of this month. Today is the 28th and tomorrow will be a full moon. And with the perihelion approaching the moon seems really bright. I was spending just a few minutes out in my tent and the moon light was good enough to see by more or less. A really bight and beautiful moon high in the sky tonight. Tomorrow is the official full moon. New Year Eve might be a bit on the cold side but not too awful. Looks like rain might be the biggest issue but I can't see the hourly report yet so I don't know when it is suppose to rain.
Could have been an eBay day today or some other delivery. I haven't been out to check the mail yet. Might do that when I put the car up. The shop is in a mess tonight so probably going to take a bit of time to get that all sorted out. My blanket chess finally made it back into the shop to start fitting the skirt board. I have got the first two of the skirt boards on. Kind of pleased with the fit but it took just a few clamps to get everything into position. Thought I would finish that today but as usual everything takes longer that I originally guessed. Hopefully tomorrow will see me finish that and get it back inside to do the staining and finishing. Then get back on the legs for my coffee table. Still waiting on a tool I ordered for that to try out. Should look pretty cool if I can get it set up properly.
I was out in the tent doing just a little deep listening. Heard music and what sounded like children out. Not sure. Nothing else new. I thought I might hear some fireworks like I did earlier in the evening but didn't. Might have heard an airplane. Again not sure.
Did just a bit more work late last night on my HEB delivery order. Not sure when I am going to release it. Probably add a few more items before I do.
No project work today. I think I have already described my wood working for today. For housework I put the dishes up from the dishwasher and scrubbed the shower floor just a little more. Did clean up my dishes and put them in the dishwasher. Not just a lot of housecleaning. Should do some project work now that I have a few more parts. Maybe I will do that after I finish my coffee table before starting another wood working project. Got a couple of just fun computer projects I would like to do. Now that Christmas is over my light sequencer can kind of be postponed a little. Might get it going by July. It would be fun to incorporate into my fireworks show.
Twist was a lap cat today. Kind of rare for him to be a lap cat in my office. That is usually something that Fozzy does.
Gold is trading in the upper regions of $1800 an ounce. Crude has backed down somewhat from its recent high. Gas prices are up though. Might check and take a short drive tonight to see what has changed.
Probably going to put my trash bin out tomorrow. Not full but going to put it out anyway.
No junk calls today. Seems like they have taken the holidays off.
Resumed episodes of the Flash tonight and added the usual YouTube videos for my viewing pleasure tonight.
Got the shop mostly sorted. Got to figure where I am going to put the Blanket chest so I can put the car up.
Put air in both the car tires and truck tires. The truck tires where getting low and needed it. Fortunately they don't get driven much.
Paid a bill on line today. Not getting any more paper bill except for my lawn company and a few other. I think all of my regular bills now are paperless.
My lawn company didn't come today or at all last week to the best of my memory.
Fozzy just made lap cat.
