Cold tonight but no rain today.

Looks like at least according to the forecast it is going to get down close to or to freezing tonight. And then warm up nicely tomorrow. But no rain today. Actually got a lot of sunshine today and was a rather pleasant day but rather cold outside anyway. Still looking like rain on Saturday and maybe the day after Christmas. Always subject to change though. Does look like December is going to be relatively mild month. Staying home now since I am retired I do tend to run the fired heater more. So mild is good for that.

Today was an eBay day. Got one item in and also got my soap supplies in. Just like to have them on hand but I have a batch aging now so I should be good for a while as far as soap goes. Also placed another eBay order. Always seem to need this or that tool to work on a project. Ebay is good for that. Can find what I want and usually have a very good selection. Back logging more items to come in though. Thought I might get a few more items today. Maybe tomorrow. Really hard to tell from the tracking.

Did a bit of housework today. Cleaned up the kitchen and put the dishes away. Also vacuumed the kitchen floor for all the dust bunnies that seem to accumulate there. No project work today. I finished putting the final coat of finish on the blanket chest top. So it is done. I finished planning all of the wood I think I will need to build my coffee table. Hopefully tomorrow I can start cutting out the pieces for it. Maybe even put some of it together. Don't know. My head usually plans for more than I can actually get done. Not a complicated project but it does need to be very precise to fit everything together. Still not real sure how I am going to make the legs. Just figure it out I guess. I know what I want them to look like. Just not sure how to put them together. Cut the pieces and figure it out I guess.

Still have my HEB delivery order open. Might add to it some more tonight and Friday then release it for sometime next week. So far good on supplies. Been doing some cooking and not dipping into my microwave supply.

Finally order a part for one of my tools. A part I have been needing forever but just never seem to sit down and find it. Thanks to the internet it took me all of five minutes to find and order the part I need.

Will have to sort out the shop tonight before I can put the car up. Only really one item out so it won't take long at all.

Fozzy is my lap cat at the moment. Must like it as it seems he rarely passes up an opportunity to be in my lap. No incense today but I do have my Aladdin lit in my office along with a candle and my oil lap night light elsewhere.

Gold is still in the range that it has been in. Crude is edging up. I think it must have set a new recent high. I think it has been awhile since I have seen it this high. Gas prices are probably going up with it but I am just going to put the car up tonight without going for a drive.

Tomorrow shows two launches scheduled. I don't think I will be able to watch one but the other is a Falcon 9 launch. They are getting to look so routine and so easy. I still enjoy the anticipation of the count down and the launch. Fun to me.

Not much change in viewing pleasure tonight. It was more episodes of The Flash. I think Nova was on tonight. I will have to check. And the general mix of YouTube videos too.

Got three junk calls today. Well, one might have been legit. All came in the space of about an hour. Nothing after that.

No tent tonight.

Winter starts on the 21st which also marks the winter solstice. That will be this coming Monday so only a few days away. I will post my usually solstice message.
