There was some rain in my gauge.
Dec. 15th, 2020 09:56 pmAt least the bottom of my rain gauge was wet. Probably less than 0.05 inch of rain today but it did at least get everything wet. Didn't really do much more than that. Next relatively high chance of rain is this Saturday. Going to be a little cold for the next couple of days and then warm up to really moderate temperatures.
Thought I would take the garage sort break now before I felt to tired to do it later. Still need to put the car up though.
Not showing much of any rain chance now for Christmas Eve and Christmas but it is the weather and always subject to change. Right now there is only one more day that shows an elevated chance of rain. So December may also be a relatively dry month. But at least it is showing rather moderate temperatures. Supposed to get down to or close to freezing early Thursday morning. Not going to be cold enough long enough to pose much of a problem at least to plumbing. Still going to be very cold for any creature that has to be out in it. Doesn't look like it is going to be a white Christmas like we had one year actually not that long ago.
Today was an eBay day. Got in two of the Bangles that I won during my change of pace fun spree of bidding on bangles. Also order another item today. It is amazing what you can find and I found exactly what I needed to do a fun type of project. Had to order more than I think I will ever need but it was inexpensive. Don't know if I will get anything in tomorrow as far as orders. Kind of hard to tell from the tracking. Still have a lot of outstanding items I am waiting on including from non-eBay companies.
Actually was awake to watch the Electron Rocket launch by rocket labs. Just woke up and instead of just trying to go back to sleep I thought I would just check to see if I had missed it. Well, actually I did try to go back to sleep but finally decided just to check. Got there with 14 minutes left on the count down. So I just stayed up and watched. Always fun. And they also make it look so easy. Another very successful launch by Rocket labs. They don't try to recover the booster though like SpaceX does. Next up is two launches on the 17th. Might get to watch the Falcon 9 launch. Not sure about the other because it is an India Launch. Will check.
Worked some on my HEB Delivery order. Not sure when I will schedule it. Still doing Okay on supplies. Going to add more over the next few days.
More The Flash episodes tonight. I am on season 4. I think there is still a season 5 so got a bit of viewing pleasure left in that series. Need to watch my episodes of the curse of oak island. I think it was on tonight. And I added YouTube videos into the mix too.
I didn't get any junk calls today. Kind of rare not to get any but I think I got three yesterday and just didn't mention it.
Gold has moved up to trade about midway into $1800 an ounce and I think crude made a new recent high today. Seems to be steadily moving up. Just going to put the car up tonight so I won't be checking any gas prices.
Don't have my Aladdin lit in my office tonight. Did have my other Aladdin lit in the kitchen for most of the afternoon. Just kind of brightens up an otherwise kind of gloomy day. Do have a candle and my oil night light lit.
Cooked dinner for tonight. More than just putting something in the microwave which is what I usually do. Have enough left for dinner tomorrow night too.
My outside temperature gauge is still in the shop so I don't have an outside temperature for tonight. Official says 49°F with 98% humidity. Temperature is going to continue to drop so I am guessing we will get foggy tonight too. Gary diving home said it was Foggy.

Still no outside tent. Rain on Saturday and cold out. Still might put it up.
Did some wood working today. Did some planning. And put a clean edge on my oak plank. Worked well. Rough cut doesn't have a clean edge. Started on my coffee table. Have to map out the wood I need on what I have. My stock of oak isn't what it used to be. I should have bought a lot more of that "on sale" oak but didn't know I would really ever use it all but over time my projects have dwindled down my oak stock. But now with the internet not hard to get it delivered. I also put three coats of finish on one side of my top. Should finish the other side tomorrow and basically be done with the top except for install the hinge.
House work I only put up the dishes. Not much else. Should have done some vacuuming.
Did my truck start run and drive today. Seems to have settled for every third day now. Still starting and running. When my lease runs out on my Bolt I might be driving it for awhile.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
