Lacked rain today.

Not that any rain was forecast for today. So, we didn't get a drop of rain today. That looks like it might change again beginning about morning and lasting for several hours. December is going to be a lot wetter than November and feels just about normal for this month although the temperatures are forecast to be quite mild except for the next three days and going to be cold. One day getting down close to freezing in this area. Don't really have an outside temperature at the moment. I moved my temperature gauge to the shop to see how cold it was out there. Always seems to stay warmer out there than outside. The official temperature outside shows to be 46 °F. Didn't get out in the shop to work today so the car is already stored away and I don't have anything to sort in the shop. Had plans to work some out there but just decided it would be warm enough soon enough so just decided to postpone it but I still might get out there tomorrow.

Still lacking a tool I needs to finish the skirt. I was hoping that would come in today but it didn't make it. I am hoping for tomorrow. I want to put a clean edge on my oak plank and maybe plane another oak plank. Not going to be warmer tomorrow but I might try.

Today was a major delivery day. I had a suspicion it might be. I got three items in from eBay and two items in from a non-eBay source. Five items in a single day. That might just be a record. I might get a few more items in tomorrow. Probably at least one. More is hard to tell from the tracking. I also placed an eBay order this morning. Don't know if I will ever clear all my outstanding items. Going to kind of try because I don't really want to get too many projects going at once but it seems like I can't help it. Just get the project insomnia when I do that.

Didn't really do any kind of true woodworking today. I did put a coat of stain on the other side of my top. Tomorrow I will start the finally finishing process and should finish at least one side. Getting so close to finishing my blanket chest but I know I can't completely finish it because I don't have the right hinge or the material for the bottom. Just going to use something on a temporary basis so I can square up the chest so I can fit the skirt.

Then it will be on to my coffee table. Already got a little start on that. Shouldn't be the same degree of difficulty as my blanket chest. Kind of a project I have been putting off for a long time and just now is the time to work on it. Put my rough cut oak to use.

Did some house work. Mostly finished cleaning and sorting my project table. Looks a lot different now. Can actually see the top. Just have about two projects on it now. Also cleaned the kitchen and ran the dishes through the dishwasher. Haven't put them up yet. Didn't do any vacuuming today.

Debating dismantling my Orange parade project and putting it in storage for awhile. Don't know if I will or not. Probably wouldn't make the parade this year. Kind of needs a lot of work. Kind of version 4.

Both crude and gold look like it was still yesterday. Not much changed. Still watching them though. Gold has fallen back a good ways from its high.

No project work today although I finally did get in parts that I needed to move forward on a couple of them.

Got my Aladdin lit in my office. Lot of light from it and keeping it nice and warm in here. Don't know how anyone used these lamps during the summer because of the heat they put out.

Was going to try to watch the launch of the Electron rocket but it is happening at about 3:00 in the morning my time so I probably won't watch it.

No sound of the night tonight. No tent up but no winds sounds tonight for sure. Last night the wind was really blowing. I emptied out my rain gauge in anticipation of tomorrow's rain. Don't really see anything on radar heading this way but that doesn't seem to be a good indicator of rain. The hourly show that I might wake up to some rain. But does seem to be slipping later and later.

Got paid on the 9th this month. Been meaning to mention that and just now remembered it. Just about 10 more days until Christmas. And not long after that and this year will be over.

My viewing pleasure tonight were episodes of The Flash and more YouTube Videos. Tomorrow is the Curse of Oak Island.

Fozzy is in my lap now making him the lap cat of the day.

Car is not on charge.

Found mushrooms growing in the back yard. Two different types. One was a very pretty purple.

The lawn company came today. Was a bit surprised by that. Didn't think they would come this week.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
