No surprise that it didn't rain today.

November is certainly starting out to be a dry month. No rain at least for the first four days of the month and the forecast doesn't show much hope for the next 14 days or so. Also looks like a heat wave for the next couple of weeks also. At least by fall standards. Temperature getting into the 80's. Might need to set the central air back to air conditioning for a few days. The inside temperature of the house got to 79°F today. Which is still below what I set my air conditioner for but not by much.

Spent a good bit of time outside in my tent today just relaxing and enjoying the cool and fresh air. Tonight's sounds include pretty much the usual ones that I but no geckos. I guess it is too cold for them to be out. Still planes flying over both propeller and jet which I tend to notice a lot more being out in the tent versus being inside. Right now just maybe a bit too cold to be out there. Need an extra blanket.

And just like that tomorrow is going to be November 5th. The days do pass. Didn't get any eBay items today but did get a package from an outside company. Still have a few outstanding items from eBay and at least two from outside companies. Some items I need for my wood working an a couple of items for project work.

Didn't do any house work today or project work. Mostly just made this into a very lazy day. Maybe tomorrow I can get a bit more motivated to do some project or house work. Still thinking I might put up Christmas lights this year if I can get my light sequencer sorted out and the central and satellite controllers all working. Now that the shop is cool enough I need to build the box for it.

There was an Atlas 5 scheduled for launch today but I think it was scrubbed due to high winds. Don't know for sure but looking at the wind speed it did seem high. Tomorrow at about 5:30 pm or so our time a Falcon ( is scheduled to launch. Hopefully this one will launch but still lots can go work and there is no fixing it later. It does look like November is going to be a busy month.

Did the truck start, run and drive today. Missed the last couple of days to do that. Still have about half a tank left and will probably add my generator gas to it soon. Best place to store gasoline.

Gold is trading just above $1900 an ounce and crude is still down but may have regained just a bit. Still has a good ways to go up even to reach its recent high. I imagine the gas prices haven't changed. Still don't know if those stations are having a gas war or not.

Tonight's viewing pleasure was The Flash and assorted YouTube videos.

Fozzy was a lap cat twice today. He seems to really enjoy it. No incense today though.
