No rain yesterday or today.
Nov. 3rd, 2020 10:28 pmBoth days were rain free. Didn't post this yesterday due to certain complications that I really don't want to go into other than to say they are behind me now and avoiding them for so long. Over and done with. Doesn't look like much at all in the way of rain in the forecast for the next two weeks other than some slightly elevated rain chances. Also looks like we are in for a mild heat wave for the next couple of weeks. Day time temperatures will be in the mid 70's to the low 80's. Looks like a bit more air conditioning usage.
Did get an eBay item in today. It was some filters for my ice maker that I thought I would use to replace the existing one only to find out it didn't have a filter on it. So I just decided to leave well enough alone and not put a filter on it at this time. Good to go as is so I will just leave it alone. I have at least two items coming in from outside companies and one coming from China. Going to be awhile before that one gets here.
Got my HEB delivery yesterday and got it sorted and put away. Probably a little light and a little bit earlier between orders that I usually do. Really so fortunate to have that service available. Just had one item that they didn't have so I just decided to order it from eBay instead.
No shop work, house work or project work today due to certainly over riding priorities. Going to try to do a bit more of all of that tomorrow. Got to come up with a different approach to finishing a wood working project. My initial approach that I thought would work isn't because of too much variation in the dimension I guess that happened when I cut it on the band say. So got to try a different approach.
An Atlas 5 rocket is scheduled to launch tomorrow somewhere around 4:30 our time followed by a Falcon 9 launch the following day. Does look like November is going to be a busy month for Rocket launches.
Gold is trading very close to $1900 and ounce and crude has regained a little from it low. Gas station prices are still around $1.69 for the few station that I do check.
Fozzy is the lap cat of the day in that he is there now. Lately he rarely misses a day to take some lap time from me. Not exactly a small cat either. I know he is just a bit overweight. But a very sweet kitty but doesn't like to be handlef at all. I think he is at least part Maine Coon but just isn't a Maine Coon. He certainly makes the rolling R sound that they do and has the tail and the hair between his toes. But really lacks the really long hair of a Maine Coon. And the long whiskers.
Did do some tent time tonight. My lawn company came today so I put my tent back up. So nice just to spend some outdoor time and relax. Nothing to report in the way of sounds of the night though other than the moon still looks big and bright.
Nothing really in the way of viewing pleasure at all for yesterday or today. Well, I did finish watching part of the Walking Dead, The something beyond.
No incense today.
And I think that is going to do it for tonight.
