November starts rain free.

And just like that it is now November 1st and with no surprise at all it was a rain free day. Looking ahead at the forecast it now looks like there are two days in the coming two weeks that have a higher chance of rain. It also looks like temperatures on some of the sunny days may require having the air conditioning on. The temperature in the house got to 79 °F which was pleasant enough not to switch the air conditioning on. Outside tonight I did hear at least one air conditioner stopping and starting. I think mine has been off for a few days now as I have the heater on.

Now have Fozzy as my lap cat of the day. Seems to be settled in and relaxing. Still awake though.

No incense today and nothing in the way of an eBay delivery day but I did place another order. Going to have a lot of outstanding items to be delivered if I keep this up.

An Atlas 5 rocket is scheduled to launch on November 3rd. Tuesday at something like 4:30 our time. Going to try to watch it.

Almost forgot that today was the end of Day light savings time. Noticed when my clocks didn't match the time on my phone. Then remembered I heard a mention not to forget that last night ended day light saving time. All is adjusted now but it really dark now.

Did the truck start, run and drive again today.

Fozzy is getting close to falling asleep. Don't know if he will beat my legs to falling asleep.

Gold is trading lower now even further below $1900 an ounce. Fallen back quite a bit from trading briefly over $2000 an ounce. Crude has fallen back even more. The stations I check are now showing $1.69 a gallon. Still like my electric. I think I have avoided now two oil changes and probably an antifreeze change. Maybe an air filter too. No worry about power steering fluid as mine is electric. Maintenance is definitely cheaper on an electric.

Did spent some time in the tent but before it got dark. I had to take it down as I suspect my lawn company will come early in the morning. This is the week I believe that they come on Monday. Don't have anything to report as in sounds of the night. But I have noticed that when I am in the tent I do notice the planes flying over a lot more. I guess inside I don't really notice the number of planes that actually fly over.

I have my HEB delivery scheduled for 2:00 pm. Last night to add items if I can think of any. I am really glad that service is available.

Probably still a nice almost full moon out tonight. I will have to check when I go out to put up my car. One thing though running the heater is much more energy usage than running the air conditioner. Didn't think that would be the case.

Viewing pleasure was my Netflix series The Flash and I watched the first few minutes of Fear the Walking Dead. Probably watch a bit more before going to bed.

Did a bit of project work today. Gathered up parts mostly and thought about what I could do to hook up the battery modules and incorporate the battery management system.

Did a bit more housework cleaning the bathroom. Just doing a little bit a day. Need to clean up the kitchen tomorrow. I did a load of whites today too.

Worked in my shop some today. Was a good day for it. Just about the perfect weather. Wish I had a permanent shop though. That is my dream someday. Going to work on my blanket chest some tomorrow. At least that is the plan.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
