Just as rain free as yesterday was.

It was a very nice day outside today. And we didn't get any rain. Nothing since the five minutes or so rain we got recently. Really getting late in the season to worry about it but it would be nice to get some more rain to keep the lawn green for just a little longer. Still nothing at all worth noting in the forecast as far as rain goes in the next 14 days. Looks like we are still in for some warm days and nicely cool weather at night. Going to be sunny and mild for the nice two weeks.

This is the last day of September. Tomorrow is the first day of October and will have a full moon called the Harvest moon. Haven't looked at it tonight but I have to put up the car as I did some work in the shop today. If I can remember I will try to look at it. I saw it about two days ago and it looked bright and plenty full then. Possibly only by degrees fuller tonight. Was a very bright moon.

Actually did some wood working today in addition to straightening up the shop. Sweeping and sorting, putting away tools. Shop is starting to look a bit more organized. Found bolts to put the extension on my lathe. Going to take a bit of adjusting and work to get the extension to align with the main body. I have plenty of length now to turn legs for projects in a single piece. Should make life a lot easier and should save a lot of time. I don't have to piece together short pieces to make legs for projects. I built a permanent mount for my car charger. Really I just made one cut in a piece of wood and mounted it to the wall. But I did cut some wood so that does count as wood working.

Right now I am watching the launch of a Delta 4 heavy rocket. Suppose to launch tonight. I think everything at the moment is a go for launch. Tomorrow very early in the morning a Falcon 9 is also scheduled for launch. I think I can get up in time to watch it. Have to adjust my daily routine just a bit. Well, the Delta 4 launch was scrubbed for the day. Don't know why. I had to be away from my computer for a few minutes and didn't hear the reason. Very disappointing. Seems it was something to do with a pressure regulator.

Didn't mention it yesterday but my lawn company came and took care of my yard. I guess the schedule called for Tuesday this week. Last week they came on Wednesday mostly because of the weather.

No housework today or incense. I did bring in my tall ladder to change my air conditioner filter but haven't done that yet.

Just put up the car and remembered to look at the moon. Very bright and high in the sky tonight. The official full moon is tomorrow night. Reminded Ashley of that.

I think gold just briefly went above $1900 an ounce today. Now trading below that. Crude isn't moving much. Seems to be staying a few dollars either side of where it is now. I did notice that three of the stations I check had lowered their gas price.

Worked out longer with my new dumb bells tonight. Can feel it more in my arms. Should be good for me to continue to use them in my exercise routine.

My HEB order is scheduled for tomorrow. I added one more item. Tonight is pretty much my last chance to add items. I guess I could early tomorrow too but that window closes pretty quick. And there is always the next time if I really miss something.

Still not much available in the way of platinum one ounce coins.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
