Adding to the rainfall total today.
Sep. 21st, 2020 10:35 pmA rather wet day from rainfall. Total for both yesterday and today is about 4 and 8/10 inches. Probably more tomorrow and possibly some more on Wednesday. It looks like this is going to have to last awhile because the forecast doesn't show any rain at all into October.
Autumn starts tomorrow and brings summer to an end with the start of fall. The length of the day and night are equal. Temperatures are going to moderate a bit. Doesn't look like any more 90°F days. At least the forecast doesn't show any. About ready for some cooler weather. Especially since wood working season starts on the 28th. Got to remind Courtney of that. That is next Monday and it is her wedding anniversary.
Gold took a bit of a hit today dropping below $1900 an ounce but it looks like it recovered a bit. Crude just about held from yesterday. Still down but it doesn't look like it is dropping. Don't know about gas station prices from the drop in crude prices. Haven't checked in a few days.
Still watching Cobra Kia for my viewing pleasure. That and watching YouTube videos. I did watch an episode of Rick Steves travels. Fun to watch that.
I probably never mentioned that probably my last trip out for work I got to go to Peru. A very interesting experience. Never had a trip like that before. Always enriched by meeting people. They were just so extremely nice to me. So it was although a bit stressful at times well worth going. And more than likely that is going to be my last business trip. What a high to end on.
Today was a good eBay day. Got two items in from my eBay orders. Still have a few more outstanding but about to close out all of my eBay orders. Kind of rare that I am not waiting on something. Didn't know if the mail would come today or not with all the rain but I guess their motto is true.
Got probably two junk calls today.
Got one early this morning. Another one of those "Hi, this is .... The reason for the call is the American wounded Veterans. . . and that is as far as it got. Get a lot of those using that same format.
The other was from a bathroom designer saying they contacted me about a year ago and that I was considering do some bathroom modifications. I don't think so. They wanted to send their designer to meet me since he was in the area.
I have kind of thought about some changes but nothing at all serious and I never would have talked to a designer at this stage.
No incense today and Fozzy took advantage of my lap tonight for about 30 minutes or so. No Twist today.
A little bit of wind noise outside tonight and I can hear the geckos. I think I also heard a frog or so. We will probably have some mushrooms after this rain is over. I saw the remains of at least one. I think the Lawn Company ran over it. Speaking of them they did come out early this morning and took care of my lawn. A bit surprised but I guess they wanted to beat the rain which they did. Never takes them long. Just in a flash and they are done.
Nothing really coming up in the rocket launch schedule.

Paid my natural gas bill yesterday.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
