Rain two days in a row.

We got a good rain today. Evidently we happened to be in the right place to catch a good rain from a thundershower. The last time I checked the rain gauge it showed just about 1 inch and about 2/10th. It hadn't entirely stopped raining but as light as it was after I checked I don't think we got much more. Still about the best rain we have had in some time. Should go a long way to bringing everything back to green. Also looks like a good chance of rain for the next couple of days also. I have been watching the forecast temperature for Thursday for some time. It is I guess the day this slow moving cold front is suppose to pass through. At one time the high was in the low 70's. Now I see that it is 91°F. Just about right for this time of year. The night time temperatures are definitely going to be cooler though. Looks like these close to 90°F temperatures are going to hold for the rest of the forecast that I saw. Might actually have to start running the heater in the morning and the air conditioner during the day.

Did my daily ritual and stared and drove the truck. Probably tomorrow or Tuesday I will add some fresh gasoline since I am finally getting the tank low and it will do the most good to dilute the old gasoline. Then try to continue to start and run the truck. It does look a lot better since I had the exterior detailed. The rain doesn't look like it hurt it.

Heard some kind of weird bird outside earlier. I think it was. Seems like it was something I have not heard before. I also heard the almost always there geckos chirping. I see them all the time in my landscaping. I guess them eat some kind of bugs. I certainly don't mind them being there.

Did read LOL cat today. Try to never miss it. Every Sunday. Black Cherry was my incense of choice today. I seem to be out of Lavender or somehow misplaced the package. I guess I will have to order some more soon. Several dealers carry the brand I use on eBay so it is no problem to get it. I did get a package in today from eBay so I can call this an eBay day. Wasn't a post office delivery but I think from Amazon. Didn't really know they delivered on Sunday but I guess they all do. Was kind of surprised by it.

Gold and crude are trading tonight. Gold pretty much in the range it has been in. Crude has backed off a bit and now is trading lower. The few gas station I check for price are still the same, about $1.79 a gallon. Been stable there for a while now. Nothing at all tonight on the platinum coin market. The one I saw last night is of course gone. Still the American Eagles but the markup up over spot is higher on those.

Tomorrow is Labor day. Mailed my request for a vote by mail ballot tonight. Got that taken care of. Nice to have the option to do that. Checked and my monthly pay check has yet to show up. I know it will eventually but it just never seems to be consistent. Don't know if I was suppose to specify a date or something. Regardless it will eventually get here.

Not a single junk call today. That is pretty must always the case on Sunday. I guess they will resume this week.

Didn't do any kind of housework today. Did unload the dryer. I guess that counts. Probably need to put together another HEB delivery tomorrow for maybe Thursday to really cover a few items I should have included last time.

Nothing really solid on the rocket launch schedule. Viewing pleasure today was just about all YouTube channels. Didn't catch the usually in passing to watch some pro golf.
