I guess you could say we got rain today.

We did get about a damp rain today. Not really enough to even show up in the rain gauge. Just barely caught the edge of a passing thundershower. Got plenty of wind and thunder but just barely a sprinkle of rain. Did get a lightening strike close enough to knock the power out for a few seconds. Always a bit scary when that happens. It does look like the next three days carry decent chances of rain. The big strong cold front that has been heading this way seemingly forever is not going to make it here. So instead of seeing a high of about 75°F this Thursday it is going to be another hot day. Night time temperatures have moderated a bit but are still above average.

Today was Labor Day so no mail or package delivery so today was not an eBay day although I did order another item from eBay. So easy to find just want I need. Still have a few item I am waiting to come in. I will probably start another batch of soap tomorrow. I got the extra supplies I need.

Gold and crude are trading. It looks like gold is still in its range but crude fell back a bit further but did recover. Checked for Platinum coins. Nothing really available. When my coin merchant offers some for sale they are gone before the next day.

Did manage to put some fresh gasoline in the truck. Probably about 3 gallons. The truck definitely runs better now that the old gas has mixed with some fresh. Got to keep starting and running the truck to keep everything lubricated and running. And to flush all the old gas out and keep it full of fresh. Old gasoline loses octane and can cause your engine to run rough. Hopefully with maybe another couple of days of driving the old gas will be pretty much flushed or well mixed with fresh.

Fozzy is the present lap cat. This is his second visit today. Seems to be comfortable enough. Can certainly stay longer than my legs can last.

Dragons Blood was the incense of the day. I think it was.

No junk calls today. I guess Labor Day is a holiday for them too.

Just about to finish another HEB Delivery order. Just the general stuff and covering some items I should have order on the last one. Going to make this one for Thursday delivery.

Don't know about the sounds of the night. I do think the mosquitoes are out in force. Don't want to open the front door at all.

The lawn company didn't come today since they came last Monday. The usually alternate weeks between Monday and Tuesday.

Nothing really solid for today's viewing pleasure. Just mostly YouTube Videos.

Did some project work today on an experiment. Not what I was expecting. Also did some housework. Got the dishes in the dishwasher and ran that. Cleaned up the kitchen too. Also sorted, folded and put away away laundry. Not too bad for house work.

Got all my batteries recharged and the battery pack reassemble and ready to replace the one currently being used.

Nothing really to mention on the rocket launch front. Just have to keep checking. Still no paycheck either.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
