Was lucky to get some rain today/

We did find ourselves lucky enough to be in the path of one of the sea breeze thunder showers although I think we just did catch the edge of it. We got just under 2/10 of an inch of rain. They were all around. But that was mostly just it. They were all around us and not really over us. Was a nice little shower that we did get and every little bit help. Looks like out next decent chance of rain is not until next Monday and Tuesday which shows a much higher chance of rain. Of course there are always those see breeze thundershowers and we occasionally are lucky enough to be under one and get a decent rain out of it. Temperatures are forecast to be almost downright cool starting about next Tuesday. I see one day is forecast with only a high of 80°F. That has to be some kind of record. I will check and find out tomorrow or check when it does happen.

Did start and drive the truck today. Finally got the fuel tank down low enough for the Low Fuel light to come on. Going to try for a bit more empty and then I think I am going to add one of my five gallon generator fuel supplies into the truck tank. Will have fresh fuel to run through it although I will be cutting my generator fuel in half. Still have my moratorium in place talking about the National Hurricane Center map and the Saharan dust cloud map for a bit longer. Maybe pick it up again after a bit.

Today was a decent eBay day. Got three things in from eBay and a couple of them were project related. One was just something I wanted. Still have a few things yet to come in from eBay but that is generally always the case.

Gold didn't do much today except trade in the same range it had been in. Crude looks like it fell back some and now is really below the range it has been trading at for some time. Last night's platinum coins are gone just as I suspected they would be but they do have one coin available and I just imagine it will go fast too. I will continue to check on their status.

Selected Jasmine as my incense of the day. No lap cats but generally Fozzy comes late. Did get two junk calls today. One I didn't answer. I knew it was a junk call because it only rang four times. The other one was:
The something of wounded Veterans something. Should have written it down but didn't. Always in the same still as all the other calls for such organizations. The reason for the call is. . . Get several of them a week.

Doesn't look like any rocket launches in the immediate future. Just have to keep checking the schedule. Too bad the Star Liner hops aren't listed. Just have to catch those or watch a replay.

Today was cheese sandwich day and I did keep up the tradition. Just something about the simplicity of a cheese sandwich and the taste. Been staying with that tradition for at least several month now.

Paid a bill today. Got an email notice and I guess I will still get a paper copy but don't really now. Paid it from the email notice. Checking while paying that bill I didn't get paid today. Sometimes on the first day of the month and sometimes much later. Doesn't seem to be any pattern to it. Still nice to get paid regardless of when it does come in.

Did watch the SpaceX video of the Star Liner hop. They have video from a drone and from inside the rocket.

Didn't pay much attention to the sounds when I went outside to put out my trash bin. Put out my recycle bin earlier in the day. I would guess the crickets are out but don't remember if I heard them or not. I was surprised to see I pretty much had a full load of plastics and metals so I put out my recycle bin.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
