Once again a day without rain.

Tomorrow might be quite different though. We didn't get a drop of rain today although it looked like parts of the state where getting decent and better rains. Tomorrow there is a very high chance of rain and a more moderate chance of rain stating about 6:00 am. And the temperature is going to be good bit cooler. It does look like with the exception of a single day that the really warm temperatures may be over at least as far out as the forecast goes. And the night time temperature are going to be deliciously cool too. Might be time to break out a blanket. Or two. Although it has been a warm summer we really haven't seen the extremes like we get some summers. The night time temperatures have been rather warm though.

Still looks almost like a full moon tonight. Nice and bright. Looking to the west I can see flashes of lightening but the radar shows it a long way away. I am surprised that I can see it. Might be a really tall thunderhead. Could really hear the cicadas earlier in the afternoon. Tonight it was just the crickets. Didn't seem to be enough wind to hear it in the trees though.

I did get up in time to watch the launch of the Falcon 9 Starlink mission and of course it went perfectly. Seems like they make it look so easy. The first stage booster just nailed the landing on the drone ship. Still amazed that they could bring something from so far away and land it on such a tiny spot. Wanted to watch the Star Liner hop but I missed the live part of it. Did get to see a replay of it on The Everyday Astronaut's YouTube channel. Just an amazing feat. Would love to see and hear one launch in person. The Electron rocket launches sound like they are incredible loud. Some specific dates given for more launches in September but I will just have to keep checking back. Looks like a lot of activity though.

Got my HEB delivery today and without a single substitution. So nice and I think this is the second time but I haven't had any problems with the substitution they do make. Still always seem to think of something I should have ordered. Might have to but together another order just a bit earlier. I am so very fortunate that home delivery like that is available.

Today was Dragon's Blood. Does smell good but only the one today. Twist surprised me this afternoon and got in my lap for a decent nap. Amazing just how fast he can fall asleep and start to dream. Both cats seem to do that. Today was an eBay day and I think tomorrow will be too. Haven't ordered anything though in a few days. Also, got an non eBay item today. Fun Project item. Will probably put it together tomorrow.

My outdoor thermometer says it is 86°F outside. The Weather Channel shows it to be 84°F

Just got one junk call today.
The Military Alliance for Veterans. First time for this one but if they follow the same pattern I will get several more.

Looks like gold dropped back a bit to trade in its lower range but still above $1900 an ounce. Crude fell back moderately to trade a bit below the range it has been. Checked gas prices tonight and didn't see any changes on the few stations that I do check. My coin merchant now has two platinum coins available. The one I mentioned last night is no longer available. Any time they get more they seem to disappear. I can guess both of these will be gone tomorrow night too.

Not much for my viewing pleasure tonight. I think last Thursday I completely forget to mention about a possible premium channel free preview. Tonight being Thursday night I will have to check and see if just maybe this weekend is one.

Tomorrow being Friday makes it a cheese sandwich day. Got a fresh supply of American Singles so I think I am set. Got bread, butter. Yes, set.

Checking to see if I got paid today. Doesn't seem to be consistent. Just have to keep checking.

Did a load of t-shirts today and almost got them dry. Outside of that didn't do much other housework. Did start and drive the truck So far I am doing that every day. Might not tomorrow if it rains. Or I might.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
