Got a thundershower rain today.
Aug. 30th, 2020 10:20 pmWe were lucky enough to be under a thundershower today. And not a bad rainfall. We got just over 4/10 of an inch of rain. If we keep this up getting these kind of maybe a bit too far about but the lawn should do fine. The forecast was just the normal chance of rain but can't really predict when and were these thundershower type rain is going to come. I really didn't see much further north but south looked decent enough for thundershowers. The forecast doesn't really show much above the usual rain chance until Tuesday of the following week. Maybe we will continue to be in the right place for a few more afternoon type thundershowers.
Of course being Sunday it wasn't an eBay day. And I didn't even order anything from eBay either. Seems like I am waiting on a ton od stuff to come in though. I ordered more soap making components. Some battery project type boards. I have a coin on its ways and several eBay items. A couple of things that won't fit in my mail box but the all the rest will. I do have some project type stuff coming in from eBay too. Also ink coming in for my printer but I see it hasn't shipped.
Tomorrow the detailer is coming to clean and wax my truck. Moved the truck to the middle of the drive way. Hopefully that will make it a bit easier to wash. Probably going to take awhile but the truck really kind of needs it. Covered with moss so going to be a bit more challenging to clean. Left his check under the front door mat. Probably do my car the same way soon.
Got my new toy up and working. Took a bit of tinkering with it but it is working. Really would have been much easier if I had just followed the instruction. It is an indoor/outdoor temperature gauge with a remote sensor. Now just to come up with a good place to locate the outdoor sensor. Seems to be accurate enough. Just wanted to know the outdoor temperature a bit more locally.
Not much really in the way of project work. Going to have to rethink one project. Something I should have seen in the first place. Kind of got over looked. Still charging batteries from one of my fun type entertainment value type projects. Still waiting on the final version of the Raspberry Pi OS 64 bit version. supposed to be much faster. The CPU chip on board is a 64 bit chip but the current os is only 32 bit.
Gold and crude are trading tonight and both look like they are trading just a bit higher but both still in the same range they seems to have settled in. Still checking on platinum 1 ounce coins and there still is not much available. Seems to have been a run on those.
Today didn't see any incense burn. Kind of a rare day as I always try to burn at least one. Maybe because it has also seen no lap cat today. Fozzy still has an opportunity.
Probably going to put together another HEB Delivery order tomorrow. I seem to make it about 10 days between orders.
Didn't really check outside tonight. Should be a full moon soon. Yes, September 2nd. Got to remind Ashley so she can charge her crystals.
Almost made three rocket launches today. The Star Liner was supposed to do a hop but evidently the winds were too high. Did watch a perfect launch and landing of the Falcon 9. They always make it look so easy. Also watched the returned to flight of the Electron Rocket of Space Labs. Also a perfect launch. They can probably launch rockets per week. So much fun to watch and I would really enjoy being close enough to hear one launch. Even on the YouTube channel it sounds loud. Looks like another Falcon 9 launch on the 1st.
No junk calls today. Really I don't seem to ever get them on Sunday. Not that I don't but I think since I have been tracking them I haven't.
Did some minor housework today. Cleaned just a little. Did my usual truck start and run today. It has been a good truck. Not many of the SS model were made.
Didn't check to see if any more Barn Wood Builders are on. Did watch parts of a couple of documentaries on PBS. Even watched a bit of a PGA tournament. Watched a little of Shark Tank last night.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
