Getting to be the norm now. Day after day with no rain. Didn't really check to see if there were any afternoon type thundershowers. We certainly weren't lucky enough to get one. Today even had a decent chance of rain but it didn't hold together. Tomorrow does show at least an elevated chance of rain but from what the forecast shows there isn't much else. Must be under a high pressure dome which is keeping the rain from coming. Don't really know that much about weather but it has been fairly dry. No real front type of rain. Just the luck of being under an afternoon thundershower.
Going to be a moratorium talking about the Gulf for awhile. And the Saharan dust cloud. On to more common stuff.
Today wasn't an eBay day and didn't order anything either. I think tomorrow I might get a couple of eBay items. Both of them are sort of for project type work. Not my usual type of project but just a couple I though might be fun to play with. Kind of short builds and just to really see if they work. Didn't do any work on my more serious projects like my Light Sequencer but I really need to understand the software more and get that working. Something I can do inside. For the physical part like building the case I need to be in my shop and it is just much too hot and humid to spend any kind of time out there. Plus, I really need to work on the design of the case too. Probably have to add one more relay outlet to let it talk to the other computer. Only going to have 8 ques per computer. Just to be able to spread out the lights more.
Twist made use of my lap today. I think he enjoys the attention of the day time sessions. Mostly later in the evening especially when I am in front of my computer does he really fall asleep.
Jasmine was the incense today. Still have a good supply of most of my incense. Try to burn at least one a day. No rocket launch today. Postponement is such a awful word but it seems to be used a lot. Might have just a nice string of launches starting tomorrow starting with the Electron and continuing for the next several days. Might even have two Falcon 9 Launches on the same day. Looking forward to that. Should help with my rocket launching fix.
I could really hear the cicadas earlier today. They can be quite noisy. Don't know about tonight. Probably more of the gecko's out chirping like they usually do.
Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Just have enough supplies to make it tomorrow. Next HEB delivery I need to order more cheese sandwich day supplies.
I have two bills I need to pay now. Will get to those soon. One that I actually have to write a physical check for. But this one bill I have been doing that for years. Use to pay all my bills that way. I was really kind of reluctant to change to electronic bill paying. But so convenient. A few keystrokes. No writing, stamps, mailing. Just a little bit but still somewhat in the old ways.

Got two junk calls today after going two days with none.
Save 30% on your car insurance. Might have been a legit sales pitch. Didn't listen long enough.
Charge of $$$ on your Amazon Prime Account. A true junk call. Fishing.
Actually did a bit of housework today. Cleaned up the kitchen and got all the dishes into the dishwasher and ran it. Still need to put them up. Opened up a number of eBay packages and put them up.
Kind of ordered another coin today. Kind of an impulse purchase. Won't be delivered for awhile. Still have one on order. My Morgan City Silver Dollar has been shipped and is on its way.
The Gold and crude report. Gold still seems happy to trade pretty close to where it has been the last several days. Not really showing any kind of trend up or down. Crude fell back a little bit to the range it has been trading in.
Going to try to put out a load of paper recycle tomorrow. I think I have enough paper to make a load. Mostly mail to recycle. Not really enough plastics to fill a bin. Maybe next week.
Just went out to put up the car. Bright moon out tonight. A little past half full. Really quiet outside tonight. Don't hear the crickets at all. Still hear the ever present sounds of the gecko's chirping. Feels warm outside. Got the car put up but not on charge. Really just almost fully charged to 90%.
Did a little more work on my soap. Got the essential oils all melted together and prepared the mold. Probably try to get the rest of it ready tomorrow. Takes a long time to age. Don't know if I will have enough saponification agent after this batch to make another one. Might have to order more. Not really an issue though.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
