Another day to put in the no rain column
We went another day without rain. About the norm now not to get rain. We seem to be in a dry spell with about the only rain falling is from the Afternoon Thundershowers. I really didn't watch the radar so I don't know if any of those happened today. Tomorrow does show a decent chance for shower and for the next two days after that. Cooler tomorrow but warming up a bit on Thursday. After that the temperatures look like they are going to moderate just a bit and stay that way but they do go up and down.
Marco is gone but Laura is still out there. Have been watching it closely all day long for the forecast track. Right now just about all the models agree and put it on the other side of the boarder. But I don't know if the spaghetti models I am looking at are the latest. Since it is now a long time since the last update I guess they are. But they are converging and put Laura on the other side of the boarder. Far enough away that we might not feel much of anything in terms of wind. Not supposed to be a rain maker either. We might get a couple of inches of rain out of it. Still the cone of uncertainty is there and it could still shift but at the next update will be less that 24 hours until landfall and hopefully the models are still good.
Gold seems to be in a holding pattern now after its climb to the stars. Now trending down towards $1900 and ounce. Crude made a decent move today. I think it set another recent high. Don't really know how much but it looks like it did. I think it might have something to do with Laura. Still has a long way to go though.
Nothing much in the way of projects today. Still waiting on eBay stuff for the most part. Well, that is a good excuse. Today was one of the rare non-eBay days. Might have a few more of those before another eBay day happens. Did find something that I wanted/needed on eBay. Literally anything is available. Didn't order it though but nice to know it is there.
Did get Fozzy in my lap just awhile ago. Stayed for awhile and then left. Twist was earlier in the day too. Sometimes they just seem to have a time limit. When that is up they just kind of slip out of my lap.
I think today was Dragon's Blood for incense. Fairly sure of that. Did start and run my truck today so I am keeping that up. And more chirping tonight. Really haven't been outside tonight to hear anything else going on.
Maybe a rocket launch tomorrow. The electron. Going to be late or early the next day. About 10:05 our time but the window extends into the next day. Plus an Delta and then a Falcon 9 on the following two days. Going to be a watching pleasure.
Oddly enough I didn't get a single junk call today. That is kind of a rarity for a weekday. Sunday is usually the day I don't get any junk calls.

Did some minor house work. Mostly just putting away a few items. Did straighten up my project table just a bit. Sorted some mail to keep and some to recycle. Going to make it a paper recycle this Friday. I think I have more than enough for a full bin. It has been a while since I did a paper recycle.
Did pay a bill today. Lawn treatment. That is probably the only bill I get that is paperless. Should do that for all of them. The bank even has a service where the bill can be sent to them. Don't know how it works after that. Would cut down on my paper recycle if I did. I think just about all now offer the option of paperless billing.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
