Didn't get a rain today.

Didn't get a nice afternoon thundershower today. Looking at radar it looked like they were very few of them today. And we weren't lucky enough to have one pass over us. Looking into next week it looks like it could be a wet one. Several days have higher than the normal chance for rain. The rain we got yesterday I think will be good hopefully until one of those higher rain chances comes true. With the exception of tomorrow it looks like more moderate temperatures too. Well, not quite as hot. Though watching them the past week or so they do tend to move around a lot.

I really don't know what to say about Marco. It has been downgraded to a tropical storm but that happens at night sometimes. It seems like all the data and tracks have been wrong and change drastically. It doesn't look like it is going to hit us directly but unlike last night we are not really out of this yet. So just keep watching. Interesting to watch the Saharan dust cloud loop. It shows Marco moving north north east and continuing on that track and looking at the radar loop that is what it looks like to me. It does look like Marco is under at least partially the dust cloud.

Both gold and crude are trading now. Gold seems to have settled in and staying in the $1900 per ounce range. Crude just seems to stay in its zone. Hasn't move much outside of that. Hard to say now if it is really trending upward. Just seems to be trading where its up with some up and down movement.

Today's incense choice was Jasmine. And just the one. No lap cat as of yet. Kind of expecting Fozzy to join me though. He usually does.

Got my HEB order in today and only had the one substitution. One kind of soup for another and nothing really at all. Got everything put away. Always get kitty litter. Seem to use a lot of that. Such a nice service to have and today they were right on time which is always the case. Delivers to the front door. Looking over my past orders I usually average about 10 days between orders.

Thought of a couple of more projects just to play with. Nothing serious. Placed a couple more eBay orders for them. Entertainment. Doesn't look like tomorrow is going to be an eBay day. Might be quiet for a few more days too. Didn't really work on any projects today. Did change batteries in one and continued to charge batteries for another. Started the truck again today and drove it around the neighborhood. Ran it for awhile. Listened to the radio. Probably going to make that a daily event.

Today was LOL cats day. Forgot to mention that last night. Read it this morning. Always well worth it. Glad to see it every Sunday. Not much else in the way of viewing pleasure outside of the YouTube channels I follow. Did pause and watch a little golf today. New episodes of Lucifer which I will start watching soon.

Tried to catch a live static test fire of the Star liner but the two tries that The Everyday Astronaut covered both got scrubbed. But did manage to see a replay of a third attempt which was successful on an different channel. Just about seven seconds or so of test fire. Still fun to watch. Some launches coming up this week. I will be sure to say something about them. Later in the week are supposed to be two actual launches. On the 26th and 27th. Will try to watch both. The Falcon 9 launch generally has more coverage.

The noise of the night. I assume the crickets are active but I never can hear those inside. I can definitely hear the chirping outside tonight. That must be the geckos. I see them all over the front landscaping. I don't see any frogs though. Probably there but I never see them. Dragon flies were out today. Saw several. Generally means the mosquitoes are too. My service seems to be doing a good job but I am still very careful about opening the front door. The weather report says mosquito activity is extreme.

Seems not that long ago that everyone had their hurricane tracking chart. And listened to NOAA weather radio to get the position and plot it on the tracking chart. The way it was done.

Fozzy did make it into my lap. Feel guilty when I have to move him but my legs give out and fall asleep. He is not a small cat. I really enjoy him being a lap cat.

Started a new batch of soap today. Probably have enough for one more batch. Still have more to measure out and mix and prepare the mold. Got to plan ahead with the soap. Takes three weeks to age.

I should still get my truck washed. Just because. And a wax too.

If my theory holds my lawn company should come tomorrow. Tuesday last week. Should be Monday this week.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
