The storm that was over the Dallas Fort Worth area did make it this far south and probably flooded parts of Houston. I heard some last night falling on my skylight but other than just maybe a few sprinkles we didn't get any of the rain. It just missed us. Somehow. It looked like it was going to rain but never did. Mostly passed to the east of us. My rain gauge was completely dry. Not even one of the few drops of rain we did get fell in it. Kind of disappointing after the surprise storm making it all the way here. But that is the weather for you. Nothing like that on the radar for tonight. Doesn't look like anything than the normal chance of rain until well into next week. But like last night there can always be those surprise storms.

There are two Disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean right now and both could be heading this way. Disturbance one looks like at the moment to be the one most likely to enter the Gulf Of Mexico. Not much in the way of spaghetti model predictions yet. Disturbance 2 may turn north and go up the coast. Josephine just dissipated so I guess that could happen to these also. Both are probably going to be covered by the Saharan dust cloud. So maybe that dryer air will help keep them from developing too much.

I burned two incenses types today. I think they were Jasmine and Black Cherry. I never can quite remember exactly. The cicadas were really making a racket earlier tonight. Don't hear much inside because of the type of windows I have. I can hear a random chirping but it only sounds like a single creature. Just one every now and then.

Fozzy was the lap cat today. He can really settle in for the duration. His long fur is really soft. A lot like a Maine Coon but I don't think he is. Makes the same rolling "R" sound.

Nothing in the way of project work today or nothing delivered today either. And along with all that I didn't get a single junk call today. I did get my application for vote by mail today. Filled that out and mailed it back in tonight.

Gold made a good come back today getting close or maybe just over $2000 and ounce. With the graph I have I can't really tell. Crude is still trading fairly flat. And that means none of the gas station prices I check have changed. And it really hasn't been that long since crude was trading at over $100 a barrel. Back in 2014. I see that at one point it was trading at $130 per barrel.

There is a Falcon 9 launch schedule for about 9:30 out time tomorrow morning. I should be up in time to watch that. Going to follow the Everyday Astronaut on his YouTube channel to watch it. SpaceX does have their only live coverage of the launch too.

Might have to put together another HEB delivery order tomorrow or Wednesday. And still searching for platinum coins and not finding anything. Everyone seems to be sold out. Well, there are still a few eBay sellers that seem to have them.

Nothing in the way of a new Auction from the Museum of Natural Science. Always fun to bid on their items. They haven't had an auction in a while.

Nothing really in the way of viewing pleasure today. Watched just a little of Ninja Warrior. My game show The Wall doesn't seem to be on any more.

My lawn company didn't come today so maybe the schedule I have figures out for them is correct. If so they should come late tomorrow to mow my lawn. It does need it even though it has been a while since it rained.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
