Rain free again today.

This was another day of no rain. Not even much in the way of pop up thundershower close by. I do see on radar that parts of west and central Texas are getting rain even at the moment. Monday does have a higher than normal chance for rain but the forecast says those are for isolated thundershowers. Maybe we will be one of the lucky ones and get one. Other than that it looks like this dry spell we are in is going to continue for several more days.

The Atlantic looks busy. Kyle and Josephine are moving away from land so not much of a concern to land. However now there is Disturbance 1 which now shows it may move into the Gulf. Still a long ways out but need to watch this one. I see that the Saharan dust cloud map is back. It looks like we are currently covered with Saharan dust but that is probably going to move out of here by tomorrow morning. Looking back further east it looks like a huge block of Saharan Dust is moving this way. It might help mute Disturbance 1 as it looks like it is about in the same area.

Did make this an incense day and I think it was Vanilla. Not sure as I kind of just decide on the moment. But I think it was. Not an eBay day today but I did get something I ordered a long time ago but forgot about and then asked myself where it was. Checked and got it sent priority. Got here today.

Gold and crude didn't trade today so can't really say much of anything about them. Gas prices don't see have to have changed so I guess crude is still trading kind of flat. Forgot to listen to the sounds as I was putting my car up. Don't really know if anything is making noise today. Probably just the usual.

I missed watching the live launch of the Ariane 5 launch by about 5 minutes. Mission was already well underway when I tuned. Just had to back track on the live stream to watch a replay. Nice to watch it but still something about watching it live. A Falcon 9 is still scheduled to launch on the 18th. Then a Delta 4 heavy on the 26th. Still a few more probably in August.

Also got one more which wasn't exactly a junk call but it was from the Democratic National Party saying they are sending me an application for voting by mail. That one I will fill out and return. That I welcome.

Tomorrow is LOL Cats. Just a welcome addition to Sundays. Always look forward to it.

No project work today or software work. Still charging batteries for another project.

Gary text today. Rain. Bugs. Lawn mowing.

Although no rain my yard is going to need mowing on Monday. If my theory about my lawn company holds they won't come until Tuesday. My mosquito service is suppose to come on Monday. Probably need it although it has been awhile since it has rained. I have seen them really thick before. Just any place there is standing water.

Not much in the way of viewing pleasure. Did watch a little pro golf. Mostly YouTube videos.

Odd but today being the 15th of August is not the ides of August. For this month the 13th was the ides. The next full moon is September 2nd.

Seems whatever was causing the power to dip last night has been fixed because not happening tonight.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
