one more day without rain.

Continuing with the trend we didn't get rain today. I hardly saw anything that looked like a pop up thundershower on the radar today. The forecast is still showing an increased chance of rain on Monday but we have to get through the next three days for that to happen. I think it has been just about a week now since the last rain and that was courtesy of a pop up thundershower. Could certainly use another one of those.

An obvious scam.

Josephine is looking more and more likely it is no threat to land. Looks like something that formed on the coast of North Caroline might make it to tropical storm but is going to move out to sea. Never seen that happen before. I don't seem to have access to the Saharan dust cloud forecast anymore. So I guess I can't really say much about that. The last time I saw it there was still a lot of dust out there.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Got a fresh loaf of bread just in time today for that. So I guess I am in good shape for it.

My choice of incense today was Lavender. I haven't burned that in awhile and my trusty strike anywhere matches are still working well and lighting my incense.

Got my HEB delivery today. Well within the delivery time slot and just a bit earlier than usually. Got everything processed and put up. Now using my mini fridge too. Can stock up more on frozen food. I think I have made just about two weeks since the last delivery. So very glad that service is available. Only had two substitutions. About normal but I have had orders with more and some with none at all. About all the substitutions have been good so it is really kind of a non issue.

Did a little bit of project work today. Rebuilt a battery pack for a fun project and got to recharge all the batteries. Just trying to put to use some batteries I have on hand.

I did some work on the software for my light sequencer. I think I found an example of how to use a loop. I haven't tried it yet but I think I see what I was doing wrong. Really with the loops figured out I think I will be good on the programming. Probably speaking to early though. I think it will be fun to play with. Right now I can have eight strings of lights. Got to figure out how to transfer control to another computer.

The launch schedule shows that an Ariane 5 rocket is going to launch about 4:30 our time. I'm not sure if I can watch live but I have a YouTube channel that follows that. I will check with his channel about that time.

Today was an eBay day. Just a small item. Still have some items left on eBay. Seems like I am always waiting on something.

Texted with Gary. Hurricanes. Weather education. Things I didn't know.

Seems quiet outside. I did hear just the odd chirp or two. Probably the cricket are making noise but I can't hear them through the door. Don't want to open a door to check. A weather site listed the mosquito activity as extreme. And I know they just love to hang out around my front door. My service should be treating again soon.

Need to check before I go to bed to see if this might just accidentally be a premium channel free preview weekend. those seem to have dried up. Haven't had one in a while. Nothing much today in the way of viewing pleasure. Did watch an interesting program about climbing cliffs on PBS.

Gold price seems stable for today. About the same. Not much movement in crude either.
