Rain did get really close today. A thundershower past just to the east of us. I could hear thunder and could see it on radar. But it completely missed us. Looking in that direction I could see the tall thunderhead. Warm days like today evidently tend to drive those things. Not much in the way of rain chance until well into next week. Like today though there is always a chance of those heat driven thundershowers. Temperatures after tomorrow are still showing to be moderate.

The moon although supposedly not a full moon tonight like it was last night but still a very bright moon.

Isaias is now classed as a post tropical cyclone and it looks like it is leaving the US and moving into Canada having made it all the way up the east coast. Only one other thing out there but the National Hurricane Center's Map doesn't show what it is going to do. Also looks like we are going to be Saharan dust free at least according to the simulation into Friday but there is still more out there.

Gold finally made its move today and broke though the $2000 an ounce ceiling. And with a good bit to spare. So Gold is now over $2000 an ounce. Crude was up somewhat today and may have set a new recent maximum. I don't follow it closely enough to really know but it may have done so. Still about in the same range it has been for a while. Didn't see any change in the gas prices though.

Finally after days of trying to catch the Starship hop I missed it live. Fortunately, I did get to see a replay of it and it was amazing. Unreal to watch basically a grain silo take off, move 150 meters away and land. Looked to me like it was only using one motor. It was only part of the total rocket and probably was just carrying enough fuel to make the hop. Really amazing to watch. SpaceX does another one. And finding a YouTube video from SpaceX it was just a single engine.

Both Fozzy and Twist made it today as lap cats. Fozzy now and Twist earlier but the thunder from the passing storm got his attention and he had to go see what it was. No incense today though.

I was beginning to get a bit concerned about my lawn company showing up but they did kind of late today and got my lawn taken care of. Looks a lot better now. Earlier today I did wonder around my front and back yards and spotted a few mushrooms in my front yard. Not the type that makes fairy rings though.

Looks like another Falcon 9 may launch of the 7th. Have to keep checking to make sure we catch it.

Not an eBay day today. I had intended to work on the software for my light sequencer but didn't. I am set up to work on it. I did wire power to the relays but didn't test it. Going to have to fix something to hold the sockets securely before I test it.

Waiting on Ashley's podcast about fermented food. She did get to charge her crystals using the full moon last night.

Gary text. Weather and SpaceX Starship Hop.

Not much lately in the way of house work. Did do some cleaning in the bath room. Did turn on my Lava Lamp for a bit yesterday.

Watch a show called the American Experience that was documenting Ronald Reagan's time as president on PBS. Nothing on CBS all access or the Weather Channel.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
