Second dry day in a row.
Aug. 3rd, 2020 10:10 pmNo rain fell today. Didn't even see something on radar that looked like it passed over us. I do see some areas on radar that look like they are getting rain but radar can give a return when no rain is falling. Maybe just high humidity or the rain isn't reaching the ground. Looks like we do have a chance for some rain on Saturday but not much in between. Tomorrow is going to be a bit warm but cools off on the following days. Not much in the way of really hot weather in the next couple of weeks or so. But this is the weather and always subject to change.
Was watching a live feed for the for the Starship AN-5 hop but one valve failed to open so the computer aborted the hop. So many things that can go wrong. So the attempt was scrubbed for today. I think they are going to try again tomorrow. Got to remember to tune in.
My game show wasn't on tonight. Not that I really remembered but just was turning on the TV as it was suppose to be on. I checked but it wasn't there. My viewing pleasure for Monday night. Didn't watch any Star Trek today. I have had the Weather Channel on most of the day and kind of partially listening to it. I also watched just a bit of Barn Wood Builders.
Isaias has become a hurricane once again. It does look like it will become a tropical storm again too. The spaghetti models do show it dropping back to tropical storm level in the next day or so. Looks like every part of the east coast is going to be impacted by Isaias. Not skirting the coast as the models originally showed.
My lawn company didn't come today. Kind of guessed they might not as they seem to come on either Monday or Tuesday on alternate weeks. Lawn is starting to get really tall. With the equipment they have it shouldn't be a problem. My old mower wouldn't get very far without filling up its catcher. I did notice that my lawn company does have a website now. Never really noticed before.
Not an eBay day today. No lap cat as of yet and I burned Lavender as today's incense. Gold seems to have stabilize a bit. Still hasn't made $2000 an ounce yet. Crude is being Crude. Really hasn't move much at all in the last several day. Has dropped back from its recent high but not really by much. All the gas prices I checked to day haven't changed.
Saw a mobile car washing service on Next Door. Two teenagers starting a business of sort. Wouldn't mind getting my Bolt washed. They come to you. Don't really want to run it through one of the automated washes as they really do tend to scratch the paint. Or take it to any other wash. Just want the exterior done.
Did some project work kind of late tonight on the light sequencer. Installed the jumpers from the computer to the relays and I think I finally got the sequence right. A bit confusing but I think it is correct. I also found the program for my fireworks show. That should make it easy because I think I can modify that to make my light sequencer work. Got to be careful now because the relays will be handling 110 volts instead of the 12 volts for my fireworks show. They are rated at 250 volt so they can handle it. With a little effort I might actually get to test it tomorrow or Wednesday.
Going to be a full moon tonight but I couldn't see it. I am guessing it might be below the horizon on the west. So basically the moon has already set and I won't be able to see it.

Still really nothing concrete on the Launch schedule. Suppose to be another Falcon 9 launch on the 6th. Will be checking in of course to see it if goes.
More chirping tonight. I can hear it through my dining/living room window. I am sure the ever present crickets are ever present too although I didn't hear them. Feels much warmer outside tonight. The humidity shows to be 80%. Wasn't too bad last night though.
Car is on charge tonight. Should be up to its 90% charge limit by tomorrow.
Just checked again and I can see the full moon. I guess it was just covered with clouds the first time I checked. A bit fuzzy from some thin clouds but still very bright. Still quite warm outside.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
